I'm going to update my GI8 version of Scared Stiff at some point with some newer physics and a bunch of other / newer things.  With VP 99 some options have opened up and even before that the additive alpha option was added but after I had released my GI8 Mod.  Lot's of nice stuff to add but I got about 100 hours into the SS playfield lighting redraws so will be using that technique as a basis as before.  Also, I'll likely be doing some similar insert halos as I did with

Centaur and that LW is using as a staple component in his night Mods, which helps the glow and enhanced lighting when the table / ambient light is darker.

LW, I also wanted to thank you for the amazing Night Mods.

 

The JP Salas version of Tales of the Arabian Nights was my favorite table before, and your recent work has made the best even better.

 

I really appreciate that my favorite tables are getting modernized to the new revisions of the VP software.

well next table starting to take shape.. took me forever to change the colors in all the flipper animations lol

What do you mean? Is it using that old ramp style flipper animation?????

Yea with all different colors and 3 layers times 4 flippers was alot lot

why not convert them to primitives? didn't zany make those flippers for bugs ??

Yep zany has 3D mesh flippers in this style but you would need him to texture bake with those colors.  I have a version he made for me to do party zone that you could try adjusting the color on via photoshop, but I find that always washes out the specular/shadows and it's really best to change the colors in 3D and re-bake it.

Well by the time you get a hold of zany and he makes the changes to the flippers you'll probably have this mod done but with that being said, his primitive flippers would probably end up looking nicer.
