Anyone who has the booster board experience  LED's installed on there pinball machine dim and not as bright as they used to be when not using the power board....If you have LED's installed on your machine please tell me what you use if you have luck with the bulbs and the power board...Zebulon told me to change the voltage on the board but still they are the same way.....Currently I am using a two wire bayonet type base with super bright led bulbs....I tried to plug the bulbs into the Ledwiz without the power board and they seem to work fine....Thanks

You can run any 12vdc load that you like...something like a 12v rotating beacon maybe?

I have noticed that some tables do not use the replay knocker?

Like Lord of the Rings and The Twilligt Zone. Why is that?

Also there are some tables who are not supported at all, I think it was whirlwind.

I would love to have all working perfectly? :-)

Where do you get your ledcontrol.ini ???   I use the ledwiz config tool on -the site i may not link to -     and there is a working whirlwind config, and knocker support for the tables you mentioned.    And remember that on some tables, you must turn on the knocker in the adjustments menu.

I use the one from Zeb's signature.

Could you send me PM or something with one that is working? Or can you Zeb update yours?

Search for Ledwiz configtool (not the one from pixel).

What Hyper said +

maybe i can link to a hyperspin forum topic discussing the 'new ledwiz config tool' ?   I may not link to the site directly, not even in a PM.... sorry

http://www.hyperspin...uration-Tool***

Please note that this is for 'normal' ledwiz users,  so you first have to make an account, then add your personal port assignments (which i understand are all the same for zebs board users?), and then generate your personal .ini

Best thing about this is that apart from a great standard config, you can make personal changes in seconds, all from a user friendly GUI.

There is also API support, so that you can have your machine automatically download personal .ini  updates regularly. So when a new table shows up, you automatically get the new table working with full ledwiz support!

@ Zebulon, maybe you can use the API functionality to automatically generate and update the file on your website??? This would be awesome for zeb board users.   I dont know what tool (if any) you currently use, but Whirlwind is not working because the rom name is whirl, and not whir

I was using Pixel's config utility but as the new one seems to be supported more and becoming a standard I'll have to update the files.

Thanks for letting me know.

Hi,

It would be awesome if you could update the file you supply? Then I am sure it works 100% with your board settings :-)

Any ETA? :-)

Make sure you use the latest ledcontrol.vbs 2.4.7 from there, the routine to take the right line from ledcontrol.ini, so whirlwind will work :)

I mean the routine had changed with the latest ledcontrol.vbs

Ha, you are right! Every config is different, but that is why the config tool exists in the first place right? Also, 32 outputs is not enough for all possible toys, so choices have to be made:  am i gonna fit a fan in there for whirlwind, or am i gonna attach ledwiz controlled RGB undercab lighting ?

Updated both PWM and non-PWM files at the links in the downloads section at my site.

You work fast!  you should also take arngrims advice and provide (a link to) the updated ledcontrol.vbs file, because otherwise, users are going to have problems

There's a page full of links on the site, right under the heading "Links" on the home menu.
