I have 1.4 and flipper is getting stuck up or down for short periods at random.

Are you running db2s?

I am, and also pinballx, and now I see this discussion: http://www.vpforums....showtopic=25999.

I'll try some of those suggestions. Thanks!

What's New in Version 1.5 (See full changelog)
  • Version 1.5
  • Koadic Update: This is a final fix to the sound issues when I 'fixed' it in 1.4... it should all be working properly now and as intended.

With the new VPinball (beta 921) the flippers are transparant and Ringmaster is not in the right place (too low).

And sometimes they're ok...but the ringmaster act strange.

Did you also checked AFM Beta 4 with 921 ? The wall in the center before the ufo, normally 3 red lights is a black big wall. Checked with an older beta and then it's normal :

Can you post your settings both for VP (preferences>video settings) and in your nvidia control panel (3d settings>manage 3d settings).

I have an idea how the 'transparent' flippers might be happening, but I have no idea why you are seeing the ringmaster when it is fully lowered and below the playfield. For the flipper issue, locate the 'pfDay' ramp (located on layer 4 if you want to hide all the others to make selecting it easy), select it, right click and 'draw in back' to see if that helps.

It's not only the flippers, but also the ball and other objects that are transparant. When I start the game everything's normal,

but when I launch the ball, the transparancy starts. With an older beta of VPinball (840) no problems. Here are my settings :

Did you try my suggestion of sending the 'pfday' ramp to the back?

Also downloaded the 1.4 version again and there I have the same problem. Also tried the Nvidia driver one version before and still no difference.

I can't remember that I had those problems when the 1.4 came out. So something is changed...one thing is the daily beta...but...maybe something l forgot ??

(now I go to Austria for some skiing...so I can't test anything for the following 10  days :drunk: :winetoast: :bar1: :shooters: :bar5: )

This is an awesome work but I would like to make one improvement suggestion.   On the F6 menu there is an option to change ball color for the large ball on the left.   I think this option would be better suited to change the color theme as a whole.   For example, if you select "red", it changes the color of the slide on the right, the ball color, and the flipper color so the entire theme of the table matches.   With the color of the slide always being green, it is a little odd unlike the night mod that was earlier posted and the ball and slide matched and the slide was a little pink and the ball was red.

This way, someone could actually create a green, red, blue, yellow, or lilac theme for both day and night making a total of ten possible colorized tables.

Selecting night or day mode should change lighting, but then a "theme" mode would do all the color changes.   Right now enabling "Day Mod" is what is changing the color of the flippers to green.   This would be better off being assigned to a "theme" option rather then to day or night.
