about the HGTT, i edit the post, because of the nvram file (EB was awarded) : btwn be sure i did that score coffee1.gif

and i'm agree with you about the round-the-clock old pin : to compete, we have to do it as we did in real life : TILT the machine as near as approaching 999.990... with all the risk it has wink.gif

Great job keeping this organized Sabbat Moon! However, I would like to make a couple of suggestions that may help you keep this better organized:

-SNIP-

This was a discussion I had with slam23 several months ago when he proposed a new high scores site. Unfortunately that new site will not come to pass due to the proposed tournaments here which will post scores in a database (I believe) for each table used in a tournament.

And I still think that the extra ball buy-in on Indy '93 is a regular table option that should be excluded from the no-buyin rule! smile.gif
Nice to see you ta2686, you have some nice spots on the leader board!

Did you know that "playing pinball" is called "flipperen" in Dutch? Now you know and may your life be enriched by this arcane knowledge....

@Ripleyyy-

Believe me when I say that I believe you did achieve that score. I am just going by the rules of the old high scores site which did not allow rollover scores to be posted.

@slam23-

Hello to you to! Thanks for noticing those! However those will probably be the only ones I will have as due to my deteriorating vision I may be forced to stop playing tables. I just can't see the ball or the table clearly anymore due to enlarging blind spots in my visual field.

You make a good point about the buy-in ball as well. Since there are several tables that have buy-in balls in their rulesets (TAFG, TZ, Jack-Bot, Indy 500 as examples) any score achieved with buy-in balls should either be not posted or seperated out into its own seperate score.

done here : http://www.vpforums....?showtopic=9817

btw, another suggestion to Sabbat Moon : i didnt know (quite) nothing about programming internet page, but would it be possible to show all the scores in table format, as in excell or works for example, and if yes, why not keeping the 3 best players per table !? simply to let more people having a chance to add their name to the show

Thanks for the compliment! That score took awhile to reach I can tell you (about 2,5 hours I think), my other best games were more in the range of 500-600M if I remember correctly. And still no Valinor for me.... smile.gif I must say that the VP9 versions (JP/GRONI) are definitely tougher, and the way I had the VP8 in my fingers, i.e. all the shots that I had mastered, didn't work for me anymore in VP9. So I lost interest for a while. Still high on my list of favourite tables though, maybe I'll give it another try (VP9 that is, I even haven't tried to get VP8 running on my new Windows 7 machine),
I like how a simple thing (but a lot of hard work, don't get me wrong!) like collecting a list of HS from a thread stokes the competitive flames in the community, thanks to Sabbat!
Slam23

PS: Now I come to think of it, I remember Bolt having a even higher score of 900M+ back in the day when the old JPG-PINS forum was up. How about it Bolt? I wouldn't want to claim any fame that is not mine to begin with!

No problem with the F-14 score Sabbat Moon, the table is so easy, that many peoples get points around the clock.

I hope I still find my old high score LotR picture, but I think,
I had deleted my old nv when the new table appeared VP9.
The VP9 version version is much more difficult than the VP8.

You makes a great job here with the Highscore Leaderboard Sabbat Moon. dblthumb.gif
