Here too, 10.8 works out of the box.
Have deinstall all ATI-drivers and install again - works fine. otvclap.gif

UPDATE:
10.9 works out of the box

Sometimes and on some tables my pc freezes.
Haven't time the last weeks to check what it is, but today I has, try so many things - now I'm back to 10.4

Have a little more - the "hdmi-bug or "scaling bug" (with HDMI-displays) too. Now I know somethings more I must test before I write here "works" or "don't work right".

With 10.9 in the latest tests I found out this:
-when you start a table with small graphic it works, when you start after that a table with big graphic = freezes or the ball roll very slow with slow fps or not freeze, start the big table again, than it freeze.
-you can't play much of tables one after one = there come a freezes earlier or later, this can be a time of a half hour or more.
-there is the windows 7 sandglass in the time the table load = after that I has a freeze or not.

With 10.4 I don't have that all. Much of things and they comes only sometimes. Must more test before write here "it works - that I know now". wink.gif

I'm sorry. whtflag.gif @Krakerman, thank you, I have search today all again and found this:
I don't know how it goes think.gif , but the "Windows XP SP 3" wasn't enabled only "run as administator" - and I search and try so many days.
Try out all my 17 tables on my cabinet, one after one - no problems since I "reactived the XP SP 3 checkbox for Future Pinball". Now I have only the "HDMI-bug" from the driver, must every start go in the properties, scaling, move the slider and set it to 0% overscan, hope that was fixed in the next driver update.

Edit: My mistake was, that I forget the "fplunch" for hyperpin.

10.10 works out of the box, the HDMI-bug for scaling is fixed.

10.11 - not work correct - let the card not power down

Today 10.12 - hyperpin freeze after exit of 2 tables.

Go back to 10.10
With 10.10 I have no problems so far.
Try all my now 19 tables, play all with 1 ball and it works correct.

To complete that - I play Future Pinball only in Arcade Mode on my Pinball Cabinet.

On my ATI card I updated the drivers from 10.4 to 10.12,(WIN XP SP3)
!0.4 were ok for physics, and textures but holograms did not work correctly.
With 10.12, holograms work fine, but big textures (2096 px and more) stopped to show up unless "high quality texture option" is off, and spinners tend do swing forever.

Can anybody tell if 10.10 or 10.11show big textures, with "high quality textures" option on?
In other words does anybody use 10.10 or 10.11 driver with "high quality textures" option on and no permanent problem on any table?

Here's the file.. just extract it to your future pinball directory..

If you have other games that have the same issues you can extract it to roots of those directories as well to fix it..

hurra

that does it for me, now the texture are visable, not all of them, but, for example, the table 3Angel, a most comlexive one, can now be played

the only negative ist, that some parts of the background sound are studdering (they repeat about 4 to 5 times, like an echo), don't know, what to do against that

oh, my configuration > its an msi ge700 (gaming notebook) with ati radeon hd 5730 (Driver Version I don't know where to get this info) and Win 7 home prem 64 bit)

thank you, great work

Just following up here after a long while, 12.3 drivers work great, I have switched over to playing FP way more than VP, and on my 32" LED TV near my PC using a dual stick logitech joystick, been a blast, although the one thing that sucks is the mostly lack of nudging, can't rig a button for left and one for right with the buttons, and it has 12 buttons total.

Other notes:
FP crashes if High Quality Textures are on, every table.
I don't render gameroom or ornaments anymore, that was crashing a lot of tables.
Super Nice Crystal Rendering and HQ Pinball models I do use on my default layout.
Disabled GLSL Shaders, so I get the right DMD color.
32/24/16/16 with High quality models, and I am good to go.

I have a 1 gig Video card (Radeon 5850), is that the issue, just not enough space for all the textures?
I have 8 gigs of system RAM and even on full load on a high end table I still have well over half that RAM free.

Hi badfinger,

I have too an ati hd 5850 with driver 10.10 and play with FP with this settings:

I have test with more of 40 tables , new and old and it's ok (MM,IJ,road girls,3angels,bad cats,TDK,iron man etc..)

I use 2 screens 40" and 23" , win xp 32bits sp3 ,phenomII x2 oc to 3.6ghz and 4gigas ram.

If I have a problem with table white , I change trilinear to bilinear and uncheck high quality texture and it's ok.

What is your os and cpu badfinder ?

Hi, it's some time ago, but my new Graphics Card crashes a view times, after a while it works again, aticfx32.dll crashes - and Future Pinball can't start the table again.

It's a brand new ATI R9 270X (with i3 and 4GB RAM) W7 x64 - any solution for that problem?

Old driver or something like that? - if it runs, the load is about 30% from graphics card at maximum settings.

OK - Problem was onboard graphics Card from Intel :) - i tested the system with 2 VGA Ports, one onboard an one of the card, and that won't work good, set one to hdmi and one on DVI - everything fine :)
