Dear JP,

thank you for the fix, works 1A! :otvclap:.

Another hint from "playing" with the game: at the end of the sound manager listing remove the "s" of sfx_Enter, _Esc, _Next and _Previous and you will have sound when entering a new high score. Further I replaces in line 2167 fx_Bong (sound not listed) with fx_knocker.

All the best regards,.Christian.

Is this a bug.? When you enter 2 or more credits and finish the 1st game and start the 2nd game none of the lights come back on for the rollovers.

No, it is not a bug. Take a look at this video, he explain the rules in detail, and you will see the lights do not reset between games. There is a lot of strategy to be learned from the video :)

Gottlieb's 1966 Masquerade Pinball Machine - Finished - #8 (youtube.com)

I just wanted to circle back and thank you for the link to the tutorial in the middle of this video. Masquerade gameplay is a riddle, even compared to some of the complex rulesets of later pinball. What Gottlieb did in 1966 was truly impressive.

Whoops! Too much english.

Question about chime DOF; it appears like possibly a typo where only two tone bars are set up (one event seems used for both, I believe it was, 100s and 10s). Or is that by design?

Thanks,

UPDATE

7.0.0 Updated 22.05.2026
- Graphics, layout and B2s updated by Frigo
- Updated my physics to my latest revision.
- Added a newer spinner code

This graphics update by Frigo deserves a new version number :)
The single line "- Graphics, layout and B2s updated by Frigo" actually means a lot, here it is his change log:

B2S Backglass:
- Replaced all images in illumination frames
- Replaced face animation (3 frames, duration length is same)
- Replaced reel numbers
- Changed and redrawn DMD image (matching with backbox decal)

Backdrop:
- Replaced reproduction artwork with original backglass
- Replaced Beauty's face
- Redrawn Beauty's hand and fan
- Replaced fan animation texture
- Replaced reel numbers
- Added backbox decal

Light areas
- Added illumination on logo
- Added illumination on masked guy & rose
- Ball numbers modified
- "Game Over" modified
- Match numbers' shapes and arrangement changed
- Player emblems changed
- Tweaked player banners

Playfield:
- Size changed, matching aspect ratio
- Playfield redrawn completely
- Replaced spinner numbers
- Added spinner primitive and textures, similar to Paradise (Optional)
- Tweaked spinner lights and "When Lit"
- Assigned correct colour materials to bumper skirts
- Added custom bumper skirt mesh for "M-A-S-K-E-D B-E-A-U-T-Y"
- Mesh replaced (placement of holes modified)
- Moved placement bumpers, targets & lights
- Changed trigger shapes "E" & "D"
- Light areas slightly modified

Plastics:
- Redrawn lower apron completely
- Replaced artwork, sourced from close-up photographs
- Reworked plastic shapes
- Replaced certification with better quality (completely typeset)
- Replaced text cards (Source: Inkochnito)
- Added screws lower apron
- Removed redundant screws on plastics
- Adjusted the rubber bands and posts to new shapes
- Replaced upper apron from Paradise table including bracket
- Angle of gate is now aligned with upper right plastic
- Added a metal pin next to gate

Table Options:
- Rule card swapped with better image quality (Source: Inkochnito)

I simply make the wheel/spinner work and updated my physics, which for this EM table means less ball speed and more bounce on the rubbers  :)
