Thank you so much JP for another beautiful table.
Some "copy paste thing", the lights connected to the solenoids are wired as Flashers, instead they are lamps.
Mmmm, could you explain that a little better, I don't understand what you mean. I know some of the solenoid flashers are lamps, but they are right in the scrip
For example "Fl8" is a bulb,
but the call is for the flasher subroutine,
Flash 108, Fl8
but it must be for lamps.
Lamp 108, Fl8

Now I see it, thanks! I think that it almost never turns on, since I haven't got any error yet
I'll fix that! ![]()

I guess you prefer this set of sounds better
Definitely, although being the nag I am I still went ahead and changed them to my liking.
I currently use the bumper sounds from the Bride of Pinbot table by VPinWorkshop, more specifically the "WS_PBT_REV01_Jet_Bumper_Up_23" and "WS_PBT_REV01_Jet_Bumper_Up_26" ones.
NB: the kickback is still a little buggy, now having a hard time to 'catch' the ball going down the left outlane.

I'll take a look at those sounds ![]()
And about the kickback try increasing the size of the trigger called sw17 (the one formed as a star). I guess it all depends of the computer, since it works quite well in my computer. But if you find a size that feels better then just reported here ![]()

Kickback fix... try moving the sw17 slightly upwards until its central midpoint is level with the bottom of sw17a. I have thrown lots of balls at it and seems to be working correctly now. Likely an issue caused by how physics perform on lower spec PC I think, at least on mine. I think the ball was previously hitting the bottom wall and perhaps rolling slightly to the right before the kickback would activate, resulting in it hitting the plastic/wall above it next to the outlane when kickback activated.

I'm getting the following message in the debug window every time the ball drains (doesnt affect game, if debug window is not open you would not notice it). Is there a missing sound file or intentional for some reason?
Request to play "0", but sound not found.
Also, I mentioned it earlier, but is anyone else having the issue that after the ball drains, the tune that is played before the new ball is released gets cut off prematurely after only about a second of play and then silence for a few seconds before the ball appears in the plunger lane. On the real table the tune lasts about 5 seconds as can be seen in this video just after the ball drains at 2:54 into the video
It sounds like the orchestra hit sound increases in pitch several times over 5 seconds in the real machine, whereas it only plays the bup bup orchestra hit once in this emulated version and then silence for a few seconds on my PC. Perhaps the sound is reused and pitch manipulated in the real machine and this isnt able to be emulated properly?
Edit: seems number of "bup bup" plays is linked to bonus multiplier.

Yes, that's a vpinmame emulation bug, toxie is aware of this and we hope he and/or Gaston can find out what's wrong.
Don't worry about the missing sounds, most of tables will output a not found sound error from time to time ![]()

Not only am I not experiencing the same bug, but the updated version seems to have no effect on the delay between balls. Not that it's bothered me or affected gameplay. Just passing along my experience.

Ah... do you also have the cut off tune issue when ball drains... in the video above the sound starts at 2:54 and lasts about 5 seconds on actual machine, gets cut after one second on mine and then silence for about 6 seconds before another quick tune and ball then appears in plunger lane.

I see what you're talking about now. I just double checked on my cabinet and actually, to me it doesn't sound like it's getting cut off. It sounds like a shorter (or truncated) version of the longer tune. That could just be a matter of where in the tune it ends, but it never sounded like it was cutting off.

Everybody have that delay
I have tried all the vpinmame versions down to version 26, and they all have the same problem. So I hope the vpinmame gurus discover what's wrong.

Ah... I check another video at
In that video at 1:45 the orchestra hit is only a single "bup bup" but the ball releases much quicker.
I'm wondering if the number of Bup Bup orchestra hits increases with score bonus or something, and the delay/silence is actually caused because the emulation is incorrectly allowing for the maximum number of "Bup Bup orchestra hits" that could potentially fill that time slot if you were to get maximum bonus or something (but not actually playing all the sounds and just filling the remainder of the time with silence)? Sorry for confusing explanation, finding it hard to put into words.

That sound is linked to the bonus multiplier indeed. Simular to Black Knight 2000 also made in 1989
Yep... that makes sense when I look closer at the scoring.... I'm so crap at the game that I never got past 1x multiplier during the game and only heard the 2x multiplayer tune play at the end of the game which did play the "bup bup" ascending sound twice. That right outlane is very hungry.
Perhaps my theory above holds water then, might be up to the vpinmame guys to work that bug out but I don't even know how to get in contact, perhaps JP can bring it up with them?
