i have the antimicrox working, albeit it's a bit flaky at times to get going, but once working it stays working until the next day, and then it may or may not and needs attention. Does anyone know in what the setting positive half throttle/ full throttle/ normal/ETC relates to when mapping of the keys is concerned.

Thanks

Have just done some testing with Joy2key

Have successfully managed to get left and right flipper to be controlled by left and right xbox one controller triggers, in VPX (havent tried with FP).

Joy2key is shareware so may timeout eventually if you don't pay for it, not sure.

Yes, I also use Joy2Key for such things (like getting my ALP's "controller" to work-perfectly with TPA or FX3 ... including re-mappings). But it's not required for VPX (I don't even have it loaded).

I used it for quite a while with no limited functionality. I went ahead and bought a license because it was a whole $7.

It's possible you might be able to set up 2-stage flippers, so a half press activates lower flippers and full press activates all flippers or upper flippers etc. Or perhaps have full press activate magnasave?

Not sure what ETC is.

I'm not 100% sure if that is possible but it sounds like it may be.

If it were to work, you would need to be using it on a table that supports dual stage flippers (I'm not sure if any do at present? ) either that or try setting up the hard/full trigger press for magnasave and test with black knight or something to see if it works.

Sounds familiar—antimicrox can be temperamental, and half the battle is figuring out whether the software or the table is the bottleneck. Dual-stage flippers always feel like they’re almost supported but not quite there yet. That’s where having someone who can move fast matters; if you hire software engineer to prototype and test features quickly, you’re not stuck waiting months just to see if an idea works. Faster iteration keeps projects from stalling while everyone else moves on.
