Thanks JP !
Just played, and played great !
Just 13MB ! wow !

Yes, the "huge" size is because of the extra music which is 2.3Mb :D otherwise it should have been just under 10Mb :)

JP taking advantage of it, I thought the idea of including the theme song was really good, congratulations!
I just wanted to know where I can adjust the volume of the music, because in my case, the music overlaps the original sounds of the table... I wanted to create a balance so as not to lose the details of the sounds of the table.

I even thought about it here... as a suggestion... I don't know if it's possible, but is there a way to leave the theme song you included playing just before the start of a match and at the end of the match? thus keeping the original sounds of the table during the game, you know?

hugs

thankful

You can do what STAT says, that's the only way to increase the sounds or music, but you can decrease the volume by changing the line 143 in the script:

this is the original line

    If MusicOn Then PLaySound "circus", -1

and change it to

    If MusicOn Then PLaySound "circus", -1, 0.1

The 0.1 is the volume, and the value is from 0 to 1, but start with with 0.1 and if it is too low, then increase it to 0.2. Or just try different values until you find the right volume for you. :)

Does anyone play on a cabinet not getting the DMD to show up?

So last night I fired up this table and on the first ball I was really doing great - great score until: it went into the Spook House and it did it's 'thing' but what I got was "Zilch". That's what popped up on the DMD. But then the ball disappeared.  For several minutes it tried to 'find' it but then it gave me a runtime error "972". Not sure what happened but it ended a promising game.

I haven't a clue about what happened there, but if I have to guess maybe the ball went though any wall or the floor, and the error in line 972 may happen when there is no ball anymore or the coordinates are way too far away from the table.

I guess this was a one time thing, so just ignore it and keep playing :) And if it happens a lot then something is wrong with your table and download it again.

But since there is a real tunnel under the playfield, and the ball falls there from a kicker hole on the playfield, and VP doesn't really like air balls, so it may happen that the ball will go through a wall or ramp and get lost. I could have made this tunnel 100% save by using 2 normal kickers instead of a kicker hole. Or I could make a hole in the playfield and avoid using a kicker hole. So I'll try a few things to make that hole and tunnel safer for the ball :)

Thank you for responding! It was quite unfortunate for me as it was the first ball and I was doing unexpectedly REALLY great...and then I had to close the table out since the ball went missing......I'll try again...just not ready yet...too hurt! :)

UPDATE

4.0.0 Updated 14.08.2022
- Updated to my VPX7 physics
- Added my VPX7 LUT changer to darker the table (hold down LEFT CTRL while change with RIGHT CTRL). Including GI brightness adjustment. Use the LUT changer together with the day/night slider to give the table the level of darkness you prefer.
- Updated my mechanical set of sounds to a more "under the glass" sound, as people seem to like those kind of sounds better.
- a few changes here and there

UPDATE

15.02.2023

Added a "day light" version of the table by popular request.

It was better to upload a table than to simply upload the images.

Only 4 images has changed: the playfield, the plastics, the Ferry wheel and the backdrop for the desktop view.

Not sure what is going on, but I am getting ball stuttering (skipping frames)on this table coming down the ramps.   Has not happened with all the other fancy tables (quite a few).  I am running a Ryzen 7 with 32M of memory and a new 6500 xt video card.   I upgraded the computer specifically to avoid problems.

I don't know what can be the reason to your stutter, as the ramps are simple VPX ramps with a transparent material and even without any texture on them.

ok got it, i can't say, if that is different for the DT Wheel but i get the Wheel on directb2s (Wildman's latest) running with this small Changes (from Table by Sliderpoint) ...

'Mystery Wheel
Dim mWheelMech
Set mWheelMech = New cvpmMech
With mWheelMech
.MType = vpmMechStepSol + vpmMechCircle + vpmMechLinear + vpmMechFast
    .Sol1 = 14
    .Sol2 = 13
    .Length = 200
    .Steps = 360                   ' for DT use 16
    .AddSw 41, 0, 180          ' for DT use 41, 0, 8
    .Callback = GetRef("SpinWheel")
    .Start
End With

But with those changes then the wheel in the desktop version doesn't work, so only do those changes if you use that directb2s :)

Is there an easy way to change the ramp colours to clear?

Actually there is no easy way to do that. This was going to be just a dark table made as a request by Fourbanks. As I wrote in the release post, there is already a nice version of the table with clear ramps made by Sliderpoint. This table was just going to be a dark mod, but I simply rebuilt the table, as it was faster for me to get all those dark colors and neon kind of colors. The light version came later as people asked for it, but it was never the meaning to make it as there is Sliderpoint's version which is very close to the real one.
