Great to see some out of the box thinking trying to solve issues.

We tried a v-pin once for people unable to use (or miss) a hand or an arm:
If you have a 4 button pin, re-program both left and right flipper buttons on one side.
So the magna save ( or nudge ) button will be the button for the missing hand.

Works fine for most, but not for me. I think I miss the nudging. :boxing:

nudging forward is easy, bump your belly into it

nudging side to side, some padded bars, firmly bolted to the cab and sticking out through the front panel, or something similar
and then use your hips

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Spend it on Hookers and Blow

@AtlanticWaves (and the others): This should fix these new issues while keeping the new ball stuff active: https://github.com/v...ase-win-x86.zip

Looks great now Toxie. I've been tweaking and modding tables for even better lighting and flipper visibility this is great fun.

I've run into one issue for multiple tables on the beta builds. If I adjust pov settings (not touching z scale or offset) it's killing the bumpers in some games. JPs attack From Mars for a reference. Last try I only adjusted x/y and fov and the bumpers stopped working. High speed, Elvis, mata hari are a couple more doing the same.

I don't seem to find any topics on this issue so I assume it's a beta problem. Just an fyi, believe me I'm not complaining I truly feel like I've been given a second chance at playing pinball again and I'm so grateful.

I'm actually going to write The fx3 team and see if they might think about an accessibility mode with a white ball option for their tables. Can't hurt to ask.

Good idea with the FX3 team. They are usually super friendly, so it won't hurt to ask.

As for the bumpers: How did you adjust the params? Via the UI or via the F6-preview mode? (so that i can try to repro)

Are they still not working when reloading such a tweaked table?

I'd like to have a function in tables to turn off flashers. I know people that suffer from strobe light

effects would appreciate it.

I started looking into this today. It's feasible, BUT the twist is that flasher effects are implemented very differently in various tables.

So i can do a solution that will catch most (but not all!) flasher effects, BUT also at the price of missing out on some lighting effects on some tables (the ones that use flashers 'mildly', e.g. for normal lamps).

Any authors here that could think of a better solution maybe??

I don't think there is an easy solution, since I have used both flashers and lights to make flasher effects, but other authors have used images for the effects (baking them in Blender or similar program).

I wonder if there could be a way, including the core.vbs, too?

Unfortunately i know not enough of all the artist wizardry that happens in both script and the actual table elements.  :/
