I am also getting the bad lag issue building as the game progresses. Would be a great table if it was not for that.

how do you actually get the backglass to show up?

i tried the "uncomment this if using b2s" in script, but then the dmd disappears and still no backglass screen

For the lag issue, curious if the people having the problem are running older/slower CPUs? I have this issue as well with a 4th gen i5-4690K (from 2015). Reason I ask this is I came across a posting from JPSalas where he said:

"Another thing that can slow down older cpus is the use of captive balls without using the core.vbs routines. Those balls are continuously generating hit events, and slower cpus will complain."

I did some testing and if I edit the table to reduce the amount of spare balls the lag takes longer to show up, but eventually when new balls appear my fps drops dramatically. Unfortunately, I don't have the knowledge to see if the core.vbs thing applies here or not, but thought I'd mention it.

I love this table and would be thrilled to remove the lag.

This table mod may help with the lag issue:

It doesn't really. I just reduced the number of balls to get it working better, but it still has the problem. I can barely make 40 frames of bowling
