I can see some points on bumper caps ridges and  I had not this problem, for example, on your table DINER

I'm a desktop user, and these points are less visible in FS mode

I tried to change settings in Preferences / Graphics Options, but it remains the same

Do you have a bigger image? And what resolution are you playing at? Maybe try the different AA settings (change those in the table settings)

remove all vr elements and textures. (watch out for the clock timer)

Should make zero difference (but I guess doesn't hurt anything either) :) .   The clock doesn't run unless you're in VR also.

This is not excellent but we can see the points on bumper caps

My screen resolution is 1920 x 1080

I tried all the "AA" settings, but no change

aa0.jpg

But I think I can live with that :)

4x SSAA also doesn’t help? I know that hurts performance of course. For the bumpertops I use a trick to make the bumpertops have a colored transmission; the vpx engine does not support this, since primitives are always “added” to whatever is rendered behind them, while in fact for colored transparent plastics it should be “multiplied” (like in photoshop). Side effect of the trick are these dots unfortunately at lower resolutions and in VR.

WOW :)

But i have to ask: i think i also will get some Performane - Issues; if i do a DownScaling on some Big Images, that would be the Solution ?

Texture sizes should be no issue, it loads on my laptop

Other settings he has over ridden with the table properties, you may have to change, IF you have issues
Like on my laptop it overrides a lot of the stuff i have to have turned off to run at all

Like SMAA and occlusion, i had to flip both back to off in the table properties

Yes it doesnt look as nice, but on my laptop NOTHING looks as nice LOL

with a poorly performing laptop, remove all vr elements and textures. (watch out for the clock timer)

keep only the pf.

and can be convert the png to webp .... to see if there is a big difference (to test)

VR elements arent present as im not running in VR
and all i will get out of converting the png to webP is a smaller table size

You cant fix a laptop with no GPU except the embedded one on an i5 3230m

It's running as expected on it

This is not excellent but we can see the points on bumper caps

My screen resolution is 1920 x 1080

I tried all the "AA" settings, but no change

aa0.jpg

But I think I can live with that :)

Any difference if you force exclusive full screen?

I dont see those on my desktop i dont think?
Only difference in settings is i have force 4X FSAA on and force exclusive full screen and 10 bit color support, i dont think 2k rez makes any difference?

You will have to look in the table properties to change some things as he has the table over-riding vpx prefs on some things
so you may need to look there possibly for some things to make a difference?

I will look on my desktop later, after i have had a nap and before i go back to work, if i can

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Spend it on Hookers and Blow

The amazing Storm is coming ... what a Light - Show ... :)

Thanks, no Issues, i wonder, because i got some small Issues at other Tables.

I did the Options as you recommended, also on the others, maybe not at all 1 for Limiter, i have to check other Tables again,
10.7 Beta, an old AMD A10 (2014), not 4K, 1050Ti and 2 Screens only ... but all is fine :)

flupper - thank you very much !

Wow this is sooo cool. A typical Flupper Release!

No cheap tricks, no bad compromizes.

I am not a renderer guy, but must have been a hell with all these many "if this flasher on and if GI on or off an what else" situations for this table.

And here I must also thank all those, who cocontributed: Herweh, Walamab's, Rothbauerw, Fleep, Clark Kent, Blackmoor, Cosmic80, Wrd1972, Leojreimroc, Rawd & 3rdaxis and the VPW Team.

The perfect synergy. Thanks all guys for this one!

Although I'm now managing to get 1080p at 60fps on this table on my aging PC after some tweaking, I am noting that the ball movement still seems not as buttery smooth as Flupper's other tables such as whitewater. It's weird as I feel the framerate is high enough to provide smooth flow but something is holding it back. No doubt a sign of my antique setup.

@Gravy: Have you tried increasing the B2S "Skip ... Frames" settings? That what I need to do if frame rate is not high enough.

Have not downloaded this table yet, but looking forward to doing so Christmas weekend. Thanks so much flupper et al. for the marvelous present!

Tried increasing the skip by an extra 2 frames which didnt seem to fix it, then tried disabling the backglass altogether which made the ball run nice and silky smooth.... so then enabled it again and realised that the backglass was running in standard mode and not EXE mode, so changed it to EXE and that fixed the issue. Not sure if Wildman's backglass has it set to standard by default of if it was a setting I had changed in the past sometime.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I think I'll revisit a couple of tables that have been slow for me in the past and check whether they have their backglass set to EXE (Funhouse has been a bit of a problem for me for instance).

Great job, table looks almost photorealistic. On laptop with i7 16 gb ram and gtx 1660 ti i was getting 200 fps on max settings.
