Desktop background is not b2s.  In POV/Backglass options select "AAA PF" as your DT image.

The gate in the plunger lane is open both ways, is it like that in the real machine? Does the ball really get back to the plunger sometimes? Seems to me the gate should be open upwards only, no? Thx!

Yes, imo it should be just one Way ( i disabled that in the Object - Options ) and the Kicker1 should be also a Radius in about 42-44 to get the Ball
 
There is also a new directb2s with diagonal Jackpot LED's available soon ... on VPU because i updated Wildman's Version with this Feature ...

I can almost guarantee that it should be a oneway gate
I say almost because i dont have the real machine, but it would be the most ridiculous design if it was not, the ball would continually roll back to the shooter

Exit door only LOL

.. for sure, because it makes no sense for me, there is also the Kicker in that Area.

It's definitely meant to be one-way. I kinda liked it for testing and got used to it, but I knew I'd get busted fairly quickly ;)  Update coming.

Hey batch, bump the kicker1 radius up to 48 and it should be ok. It's invisible so it won't screw-up the appearance and It doesn't appear to suck the balls off the table. Kickers only really grab from the second outer ring and the outer ring defines the visible edge of the kicker. I was able to nudge it out without tilting, but might as well get it right. I'll hold-off on updating immediately, just to see if something else arises plus I know it's a pain when you've just set-up your table and yet another update appears.

The editor and script also have a score display part, but why is the score not displayed?

You should have the LED's Window, if you play on 1 Screen only ...

I'm playing on my desktop.
There is a score display light object in the editor.
I think the script also has that part.
The table does not show the score in the back drop.
I have no knowledge of scripts, and even if I copy the score display part of another table, the display is broken.

I dragged all the LED display off screen and made VPM display the default because nothing lined up with the backdrop anyway. It's all still there if you really want it - just zoom out and it's on the left. All the lights have 0 intensity and need to be 10 or so to be visible. There's no real advantage though.
