@bha19... rom is called "che_cho" and is included in the table download. You'll need the latest beta of 3.4 VPinmame, here on VPF. Not sure what's going on with your display though. When testing, I did notice the flickering headlight, but it was a table images issue, which were greatly reduced before releasing. Sorry that I can't help more.

Wata, fun game, in my PinCab no keyboard for F1 to invoke the alt sound setting #1. Is there a registry entry I can enter by hand or a table script line where I can turn it on instead of F1? F1 popup will not come to the surface so need alternate method to activate altsounds.

 

Answering my own question (Activating altsound soundtrack):

1) Regedit

2) in che_cho folder

3) Registry Item Name = sound_mode

                            Type = RegDword

                           Value = 1 (Deximal not Hex)

 

For those who may have issue like mine were F1 does not pull up the VpinMame Settings Popup Menu.

Update:  cheech and Chong runs perfect and is an awesome table.

after I put the correct vpinmame 3.4 on, ac/dc runs perfect with no errors.

cirqus Voltaire backglass still wouldn’t show on my cabinet.  Dumbass me noticed in my table folder I had backglass with a space missing between the Bally1997. The other line was Bally 1997.

I’m well aware both lines need to be labeled the same. I figured I must have hit back arrow or something like that to make space go away.

Just right click it and set the DMD to HIDE and the grill to HIDE

Try this for picture posting
After you save the image to the hard drive, Rotated and re-save it in the right direction even if it already is the right direction - Then Post

Thank you for the table. Question, I loaded it up and started testing it, and it played without me upgrading to 3.4 mame. Is that supposed to happen, am I missing out on some stuff if I do not upgrade mame to 3.4 beta?

I have rotated pictures before, but for some reason when I post them, they still do what they want. I’m not doing it to be a smart a*s. So all I can say is sorry for the turned pictures.  ☹️

I just thought I would suggest it because when I 1st started posting pictures
I had the same problem and that's how I solved it - Who knows Goofy computers

I do 99.9% of my post from my iPad. Like I just said I saved pictures in all 4 orientations, and they still post anyway but the correct way.

Hey cmt26. You can play it on versions before 3.4 but you will not be getting the altsound sounds and music and you won’t be able to use the “che_cho” rom. You’ll just get the old Harley Davidson (hd_l3) rom sounds mixed with table sounds. If you check out the table video on YouTube from “World of Virtual Pinball” (the ALTSOUND version), you’ll be able to hear the music and sounds as they are supposed to be.

Hey batch, thank you for your kind words. No, not really like the fabulous furry Freak Brothers, but along the same idea. Cheech & Chong did come across the pond to Amsterdam (of course) in their movie called "Still Smokin'". You should check that one out as well. These guys are hilarious!

I believe the sounds are working correctly, game starts and sounds like someone knocking on a door.

I'm assuming that's your cab in the picture in the post above
Use a screen ScreenRes.res file for their particular game move the back glass up and put the 3rd screen image below it
