Reminds me of an idiot that tried publishing something of mine.
just kept babbling stuff of a similar vein.
Cost me money in the end, but it was worth it cause he wound up getting totally bent over hard.

Copyright law in Australia is civil not criminal and based upon the owner of the copyright being able to claim from the party infringing.  The amount of the claim is essentially lost income plus some modest damages to in theory deter others.  Australian copyright law is, IMHO, not that useful.

 

As an Aussie who also dislikes these sorts of characters intensely (I know if two, one in Qld one in NSW).  I have personally made complaints to ACCC about their unconscionable conduct, business and web sites.  I believe a lot of their behaviours are deliberately misleading at best (illegal under Australian consumer law).  I have never heard back or seen any action taken.  Unfortunately, while this sort of behaviour infuriates all of us in the community, its nothing more than nuisance value to law enforcement.

Man. This is pretty f$#^ing weird. At first I kind of admired his gumption as far as just opening a site with a bunch of pilfered files. I didint like it dont get me wrong, but I mean he had balls.. then the slide into Bond villainy and harassment kind of tainted that pretty quick... Sorry to TerryRed aka NOT Terry Fagerty (Sorry but that one still makes me laugh) and sorry to 3rdaxis and to all the people hes pissing off. Trying to strong arm a voluntary fan base is just bizarre and all the time to not only make a site then chase himself around commenting and doing odd shite everywhere.. I mean the LEAST he could do is pull when the authors show up and gripe at him.. not too big a deal considering, so I mean just pull them dude like WTF.. Chepas is right, this guy wields the dark side of the "spectrum". 

 

I know its no laughing matter when you get down to it but Im always one for a little gallows humor.
