Is kind of weird "I dont like XX place, you go there for me and get it for me"

 

I mean they are in the MAME ROM dump, which your google suggestion would give a person

Sometimes there are so many messages around a request and it becomes a waste of time.

but all i literally did was google "romname.zip" and grabbed it out of the official MAME rom dump

Use latest rom files. 

Do a little search.

I keep having a checksum issue with SMB3 (Mario brothers) i've tried ALL the roms... to no avail.

Same Issue...
 

 

Getting around to fixing a couple tables after updating to vpinmame 3.5.

 

Have the new nvram and smb3 rom for super mario bros, but when starting the game in VPX getting an error in a game info popup. Lists the files in the zipped rom and says the dsp733-2.bin file has a bad checksum state and table won't start.

 

Any ideas? THANKS

I have not been following / reading this thread since I fixed my table. - sorry guys. 

 

If anyone is interested: vpx10.8, (and VpinMame 3.5), upgrade kills this table again.

I don't fullyunderstand the exact terminology, spike1 files? 1x *.bin file empty?

 

Anyway, there is a problem with the old rom.zip structure that 10.73 & lower ignored.

 

Google and get all Gottlieb table updated rom(s), there is others listed, to fix this latest error, 

"smb3 old and new version for VPinMame 3.5 Final"
