If you are running the beta VPX8, then sometimes you may get some crashes from time to time, it is part of the beta test fase

I forgot to mention that I'm playing the tables with VPX 10.7.4 Final (rev. 400) 64bits.

 

VPX crashed again under the same condition : while playing the second 4 players game, after all players played their first ball.

My solution : to play only one 4 players game, then to close VPX and launch it again to play once more with 4 players.

I have not tested very much the 64 bits versions of VPX and vpinmame. The table uses an old rom, and the table is very easy built, it doesn't have too many objects, so it should be no problem with the table itself and the rom.

Some ROMs may not fair well in 64bit VPinMAME due to lack of a9jit

Nothing to do with the table or VPX

I think the best is to keep the 32 bits programs as the default, and only run those oversized tables with the 64 bits version. There is no gain at all by running 64 bits.

Yeah, just in case one have a problem. For example. On the Visual Pinball X 8 beta 32-bit. Open the controller / keyboard set up will crash it. 64-bit no crash at all.
