Oh, you can Wiesshund, just zoom while editing ;)

I know what you mean ... just pulling your leg a bit.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

LOL

I actually kinda tried that once, i found it only gets you so far when the screen only has 720p worth of pixels

Oh i made 4k data just fine, not so much on the 4k detail part.

In vector, not much of an issue, if you keep the original layered raw vector image

Raster though? yea, doesnt work so well, looks great, till you take it to a high rez monitor, then suddenly you realize you just wasted your time

trying to poke individual pixels for a less than stellar result.

People seem to think churning out 4k art is some simple task they should snap to (Some people not meaning you)
I think they should try it sometime, and see exactly how far they get, i know i am no good at it at all

If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

Yeah. I'm not great at graphical stuff myself. Enjoying it though, so, it won't stop me :)

I'm happy if i make a target or a bumper cap that looks presentable

I agree, the upscaling in many cases does not look better, many times it seems to just amplify flaws and such.

My suggestion is, to get very good at doing graphics, and then redraw the playfield art, in vector, by hand

and i am not good at my own suggestion so....

These LTD tables are done from terrible to non existent source material to begin with

Also, you can not assume the artist has a 4k screen.
While lack of a 4k screen does not mean you can not make 4k art, it does mean that you can not exactly see what you are doing

Thalamus and Wiesshund

As I´ve said in "flight 2000" support topic, I´m really sorry to be inconvenient, I really don´t know and can´t imagine how hard is the word to do a table from scratch, ever tried to be grateful for every work, even if I don't download it and even for more amateur works, just because I value the attempt a lot. I just don't have experience in forum participation, rules and etiquette, so again I apologize for not being polite and thanks a lot for all hard work and art you do.
Regards
