Ok--so you implemented the black/red plus number thing on the latest update. How can I move that---it's right over my left flipper. (I'm on a cabinet)  Thanks

this is just a beta testing table not a official release, but you can just drag the textbox from the backdrop to the side to get rid of it. I will be releasing it without that textbox as soon as its tested out some.

Alright. I had about a half hour to test tonight. Here is what I found.
The timers on the wheel are MUCH better! A little quick, but it’s 100% better than before.
However; I’m not sure the scoring is accurate. Either I don’t understand the rules, or the game is off somewhere. For example, when the ball stopped in red 8, the lights red and even were lit, but the alarm sound did not go off and I was not awarded big points. There were a few random times the alarm would go off even though nothing matches, and once the alarm rang before the ball stopped and then shaking when it did stop. I believe that was 00 or 0.

Black 7, gave me the most trouble. Three out of four times it was hit, a new ball was never released forcing a restart of the machine.

My notes on the wheel:
Red 9- scored
Green 00 - randomly scored
Black 4- should have scored
Red 1- no score should have
Black 7- forced me to restart the one game it didn’t it scored
Red 5- scored
Black 4- scored

Again, I may be looking at the rules wrong or it did score and I was unaware. Sorry I didn’t have much time tonight.

Other bugs:
Three games the ball drained again no register and forced restart. Two from the left out lane drain and one down the center.

The top left capture ball hole seems a little too “small”. A lot of the time the ball somehow goes around the hole which I don’t think can’t happen on the real table.

The drop target by the ramp when knocked down will sometimes cause the ball to float in place for a half second. Nothing that ruins the game.

I imported Hollywood Heats psychics and that seems to give the ball more weight ( I think)

This where I’m at right now, not sure if this helps, but still a fun table.

First off is anyone else having these issues where you have to restart the table? I am not. I am using the latest beta version 10.6 beta build rev 3623, maybe that makes a difference. In building this table, I have played it a lot and have never had to restart the table. So unless our hardware or software are that much different I can't recreate or answer this issue. The ball has always drained and always been ejected into the plunger lane.

Yes the ball does a weird spin off that target to the right of the left ramp. There is a post with rubber to the left of that target, I assume that is what causes that.

The assignments for the lights and switches came directly from the manual. How much better can that get? Do a google search for "gottlieb monte carlo manual", it should be the first linked pdf. The manual also has a nice break down of the game play on pages 4 and 5. Maybe it needs fresh eyes. I just checked the four lights below the roulette wheel that go Red, Black, Odd, and Even to the manual and they are correct. At this point I have to release the 1.2 version (remove the textbox and not call it a beta) and let the experts figure it out. Maybe there is a issue with the rom or maybe there is a issue with the manual, I don't know.

Thanks for your very detailed report on this table, I do appreciate it, but I am at a loss. I can't do much more then follow the manual and hook it to the rom. The test box shows me that the wheel is reporting the proper hits and if the manual is correct it is sending the right switch contacts to the rom. Anyway the seed is planted, do what you want with it, I'm moving on. Expect the non-beta right after this message.

EDIT: Ok, that post and rubber I mentioned above next to the left stargate ramp was missing. Actually it was there, it was below the playfield on the lower level. I must have missed it when I raised everything up to sink the roulette wheel. Maybe this will help the weird spin on that target.

Sorry for the frustration rascal. I’m all up to date on my vpx. Usually the ball drain issue will occur after a few games played in a row. As for the wheel, Like I mentioned, I’m not sure if I’m just misunderstanding the rules.

No, I appreciate your feedback very much. We did fix a lot of things together. Its just beyond me doing anything more. I don't know where to turn from here, but maybe some other sharp eyes and minds on it can see the problem. I mean I am no expert on these rom based tables by no means. I took a really old VP8 version and redid it in VPX to the best of my ability. Definitely a step up from what was out there... I think.

One question, did you change the Z scale at all? That can effect a table from working properly.

The Z has not been changed, I just fire up the table and play.  Hopefully this weekend I'll have more time to play and really hammer down on whats going on.  Also, I have been working on a playfield redraw for you for the past week.  I'm close to wrapping it up.  I'm now in the upper playfield  area, and I will shoot you a message when its done, if you want to use it.

All good. Yea, just had some more time playing and the wheel def seems to be scoring odd. I unfortunately can’t help in that department but the last garment I played the game said I hit on the wheel twice and neither wheel spin matched the color or number lol. Regardless I love this table! Awesome work!

I am using beta 10.6 and my problem is that the clear plastic that covers both outlanes are pink and not clear, so how do I change them to clear. I have this trouble with another recent release as well.

Thanks for your nice table

As a desktop user, it's better for me to have the display integrated in the table, so I copied it from the Victory by Sinbad and adapted:

https://imgur.com/a/0drhd0p

It's the only way to be able to use "exclusive full screen" (way smoother) mode on the table.

The modified script is here:

Great, thanks, I added it to the next version that will be released soon. Redid the roulette wheel script too a bit. Will be released soon.

I'm using the latest version of the 10.6 beta to make it, even though it crashes a lot right now (they are working on the crash issue). So I don't know why your plastics would be pink. That was happening with version 10.5 and upgrading to 10.6 beta was fixing that for other people.

EDIT: Version 1.4 is released. Change log shows the changes and thanks to those involved. The roulette wheel does not register correctly all the time (as far as I can tell), but I have exhausted everything I know on it, SO I AM DONE! If someone else can fix it, be my guest, mods are approved and welcome. I have like 20+ more tables to screw up, so onward and upward!

I tried the latest version and it is now working. My problem was I was using an earlier 10.6 beta. Thanks for all the hard work.

For the life of me I can’t get ball rolling sounds to work with this table! I’m out of ideas, I was able to import ball rolling sounds into others no problem, but I’m stumped on this one. If anyone can help me out and send me a Dropbox with rolling sounds it would be appreciated. I have been tweaking this table for a bit now, and I would like to add the sounds next.
