@Kiwi This is more out of curiosity than a issue. But, I wonder if you have any idea as to why if I do my "regular" surround sound feedback changes to this table the flippers start to go crazy just after the ball hits the first kicker at top of the table. It can best be described as that the primitives of the flipper can't follow along the invisible real flippers. They are not in sync at all anymore. I doubt that I've messed up in the changes I've made since I've done it from start twice with the exact same result. I can't think of any other table that I've applied more or less the same code to than this one acting weird.

Was away on holiday last month and came back to updated Tri Zone and Surf'n Safari. Been having a blast with all of them ! :otvclap:

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Can you attach the modified scripts that I also try?

It seems to be the routine of the rolling sounds that is connected to the "MotorCallback" function to give the problem.

Add an enabled timer with an interval of 10, and name it RollingUpdate,

replace the 1447 script line with this:

Sub RollingUpdate_Timer()

Then put an apostrophe in front of the 1494 line:

' RollingUpdate

Line 601 has a comma out of place, the comma goes before the name of the sound, instead of after the 1.

I have many "null" errors, but perhaps I miss something ...

Thank you very much Kiwi. I really have to take a second look at what your are saying here. As I've said, I've more or less done the same thing to a lot of tables and if you've found a problem, I have a feeling this can be true for more than this table. I haven't noticed anything though.

The null errors you're seeing is when you run it with debugger and it says it doesn't find the sound sample ? If so, I think that is "empty" DOF calls.

UPDATE: Worked like a charm once I fixed all the other mistakes.  Thank you once again Kiwi !

The file should not be corrupt, for those who have problems with the Winrar, try to extract the file with the 7-Zip.

The last tables that I released are zipped to avoid these inconveniences, this will also be zipped if I have updates.

The main reason for the update is to avoid having problems with file extraction, now it's zipped.

There are no major differences with the initial release, some small changes almost not visible.

Kindly, if any of the staff can delete the broken file message, thanks.

I'm having an issue I don't understand. If I rename the table to just "Gladiators" it comes up but doesn't start, no DMD or anything. If I use the full name that it came out of the zip with, it works fine. Since I'm having this issue on another table, I am guessing this is not a table bug. To be clear- I AM NOT talking about b2s. If I name the table to "Gladiators (Premier 1993)" the table works fine. I also can't find where it is looking for this name in the script, or I'd change it to match.

Anyone have any ideas?

Just an idea.
Gladiators.vbs is an old file that is no longer used, maybe you have this file in the tables folder,

and the table refers to this Vbs file instead of its own scripts.

Do you use a frontend or do you run the table directly from VPX?

This applies in both Pinball X and just vpx 10.6. I also had the same problem with Gorgar. I had to name it Gorgar 1979 instead of just Gorgar to get it to work. In the case of Gorgar I got a script error Ccredit or Ccreditname (forget which). For Gladiators, if I name it Gladiators it opens without errors, but doesn't "turn on". If I name it Gladiators 1993, it works fine.

Right now what I'm doing is going through my downloads-uniform layback, ball image etc. So these tables I'm working on are new to my machine. That's before I add them in Pinball X.

Where can I find where it is looking for the name to it will pull the vbs script? I think that's my issue. Or, do I just have to rename the .vbs script?

Putting all the .vbs files in the Script folder should solve these problems.

Then it might be that some tables don't work, and usually just replace this code that you find in the table scripts:

ExecuteGlobal CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject").OpenTextFile(VBSfile, 1).ReadAll

with this

ExecuteGlobal GetTextFile(VBSFile)

Gotcha, thanks. That must be it. I noticed both of these tables have their own vbs file.

HI KIWI, Thanks for the table.

i am also having the DMD/ROM problem.

when i run this table without the directb2s file in my table folder, i get the usual no db2s error, which is fine.i press ok, and table DMD/rom loads and plays no problem.

when i put the db2s file in my tables folder, DMD/Rom do not run until i press F3. then all is fine.

about 90% of the time i will have to do this, while 10% i starts up fine without F3.

i am running straight from vpx10.6 without front end.

i dont have a gladiators.vbs file in my tables or scripts folders.

seems to have something to do with how table handles direct b2s????

dont know where to find

"ExecuteGlobal CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject").OpenTextFile(VBSfile, 1).ReadAll"

i checked the table script, and dont have the gladiators .vbs

dont have this problem for any other of 250 tables..

any ideas?  thanks///sparky

Hi Sparky,

What I said above in post 31 concerns very old tables, in the most recent tables the codes are different.

Maybe there is some conflict with this:

If B2SOn = True Then VarHidden

it should be around the 50 line, I don't know exactly, because lately I made some changes.

Cancel this line and try to play.

Update the VPinMame if it is dated.

thanks kiwi, just commented out the line you suggested, still same problem.

i also tried a different gladiators B2s, just in case, and that also causes the same problem......

otherwise, the table is great.....sparky

Also make sure that your db2s server is up to date.

I forgot the call that loads the last selected LUT,

I added a Texbox to display the name of the LUT, this Texbox is only visible when changing the LUT,

I have not changed the version of the table.

wow, cool update, I love it!
Also as a reminder to fire up this gem much more often.

I like, that the ball is now spinning around the kicker holes, but for my taste it is much too extreme. At least at the end. Is there an easy way to change?

One more questions (I never played the real one)

In the rules card, it says "Press both flippers at the same time to kill the pop bumbers". Is this implemented, because I don't experience it?

Anything else, cool stuff here.
