Can you take a screenshot of the error messages?

Does the backglass get displayed when you run vpx version?

If displayed, does the credit reel increase when you add insert a coin?

Is airport.vpx in a different folder from airport.vpt?  Try putting airport.vpx in same folder as airport.vpt and see if it works as a test

If different folders, do you have copies of all the b2s files and screenres.txt in each folder?  Add it if not

Run the B2Sbackglassserverregisterapp.exe in all folder to install it

Are you opening VPX first and then file->open and selecting table? or are you doubleclicking on table file? or launching tables from PinballX?

All tables are in table folder. I have vp9 and vpx version in same folder when I tested it the last time. All b2s files unblocked and in table folder. The table and b2s come up, then script flashes with error and goes behind b2s. Cant add coin or anything after. If I try just the vpx file with no b2s it does same error. For testing purposes I launched table via the table file and not by opening vpx first. Isnt that how pinballx will do it in the end?

What is JIT debugging. Should this be enabled?

I think the conclusion is that I can play all vpx tables for the most part as long as they have a rom.  The non rom tables will never play on vpx.

Tried torch vpx,  game started and as soon as it initialized and my gear motor started, the wheel in the back of the table initialized, got the error and script popped up locked everything up. Torch vp9 worked fine....

could it be a dof issue with the older non rom tables??? I noticed the vp9 version did not use the gear motor the same as the vpx version

For the record, Torch has a rom.

Not sure what would cause that issue though.

Can you get a picture of the error on torch? I assume it's my table from vpinball. What folder is vp installed in? I am pretty sure it's not a PC hardware issue, I run vpx just fine on a Pentium and 4 year old ati graphics card. If you disable b2s do the tables run?

I asked him if he could get screenshots of the error messages three days ago and got no reply.

For pictures you need to upload them to your gallery. You can access your gallery by clicking on your username in the top right corner. Once you're created your album and uploaded the pictures click on the "image" icon that looks like a picture in the second row of options at the top of the reply box and enter the URL of the picture you want to put in your post (the URL of the image in your gallery).

If you right click on the B2S backglass of any of the tables you are having problems with are they set to run in EXE mode or standard mode?

I have them in exe mode. If you change one does it automatically change all of them. What is the difference between exe and standard

Yes it changes the mode for all tables. I did a search and it looks like Cjoli had a similar problem to yours and here is how he fixed it:

A few days ago, i was doing some research on the forum because a few of my tables where running a little choppy i saw that it was recommended to run the backglass in exe mode and i didn't notice that the default drop down in the backglass menu changed that for all tables (duh) :P so that is what happened. I now have the default set to exe as it fixed all my tables that stuttered but the 5 table I had the errors with unclicking the run in exe mode button did the trick.

Try unclicking the run in exe mode button on Torch and let us know what happens.

Torch vpx gets a line 1 index out of range must be a non negative when the ball goes over the first rollover on the top. It activates the disk with numbers next to it which in turn activates my gear motor through dof. Thats when line one option explicit turns red.

Bally freedom is the same way when it goes in the kick out hole at the top. No gear motor for that though.

Airport vpx changed b2s from exe and works.

Jetspin vpx just tried and it works and gear motor works. Has almost the same disk setup at torch and it works fine now

Genesis first hit on pop bumper got script error line 1 index out of range must be a non negative.... and a Microsoft .net framework box
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application....
start index cannot be larger than the length of a string parameter name : start index

Scared stiff vpx starts up and immediately my gear motor actuated and script error line 1 index out of range...

Medieval madness same thing. Works until I hit the castle door and my shaker motor goes off. Line 1 script error. Index out of range

Changing b2s from exe mode did fix hot shot vpx... yay love that table

Delete the B2S backglasses for Torch, Freedom, Genesis, Scared Stiff and Medieval Madness (you can always restore them afterwards) and run those tables and see what happens.
