Looking good.  Nice theme. You are doing a much cleaner stencil than I did on mine, I went old school with overspray style.. a bit too much over spray on some parts but oh well.  

 

Here's a shot of mine in process a couple years ago, for some reason I have no finished shots of the artwork.

 

 

There's nothing wrong with that. Looks good, nice and classic late 70"s

 

I tried to figure out a way to do that, but was beyond me to do multi-color that way so had the stencils cut for me.

My lines are TOO sharp in my opinion, but I'm just telling myself its the transition between EM / Early Solid State and the vinyl wraps of the 90's.

X-Wing and tie fighters nearing completion. Black layer is last to go on today as it needs to sit overnight to apply each layer. 

 

one other thing is i have to re-apply the splatter effects to the black to simulate that the black is the original cabinet. no way to do all the layers and use the original black.

DONE!!!!!  Boy that was an undertaking.

 

In fact that was as much fun as watching paint dry…oh wait…I WAS watching paint dry J

 

​it took over a week between layup, painting, waiting for it to dry enough to move to the next layer, masking, masking and more masking.

 

​Overall though I'm very happy with the end result. Matches my concept very well I think.
