@jpsalas:

wonderful table release ... thank you very much :boxing:

you didn´t notice that those playfield inserts are missing (left / right outlane) ? :db:

rollingstones_insert_missing.jpg

Thanks for the update, JP.

I think that changing the Slope for Min. Difficulty value to 4 makes the table feel to play a little more realistic. With 5.5 there, it was pretty aggressive, and the ball seemed to make moves that were not how a real table would play. But then again, I know very little about table physics settings, so...

Are you sure? ... the real rolling stones is like this (it´s not slow) :P

take a look:

Thanks hauntfreaks for improving the plastics :)

All my tables are quite fast.  I guess I watch too much the PAPA videos :)

Overall I think that jpsalas' tables are very impressive and lack a certain sluggishness that affects some simulations by other VP table providers.

One thing that I've noticed in the v4 physics (and perhaps the previous revisions) is that sometimes the ball will exhibit a certain behaviour that resembles an extreme form of backspin.

This compromises horizontal movement especially and can occasionally result in a ball that appears to fall down too quickly.

Perhaps this is what you're referring to?

Yes, that's exactly it.
I thought that changing the min. difficulty to 4 makes it less apparent. I'm sure that this is not sufficient and will not completely solve the issue, but it seemed to help.

It is not easy to remove that ball spin. In my physics 4 I tried to adjust the best possible the different materials so the ball gets less spin as possible, but due to the rubbers having some more friction then it is almost impossible that the ball does not get a spin, and the playfield friction is also very low to be able to get the small ball jumps on top of posts. Also the low playfield friction helps to get some more "side to side" movement, something that many people miss in many VPX tables. So everything is a compromise, but there is always possible to improve the physics settings :)

Great table, love playing it!

I have a small issue: when the credit is at "1" it never go down do "0"
I get infinite plays and the counter stays at one.

Do you know how I could fix that?

Thanks from France!

The credits are controlled by the rom. And the only thing I can think off is to press F6 when running the table and check that you have selected the Credits display, and the Match feature too :) And if you have that already enabled then delete the nvram file.

Thank you! It turned out the problem was with the maximum credit selection, selecting 40 was causing the bug. I lowered it to 25 and now it's working properly!

Dear all,

I have taken the hint from kds70 and added the missing light inserts on the playfield graphic. If you want to correct your version of the game you find the new file here:

https://drive.google...iew?usp=sharing

please note that you must tweak the light element and assign it to "pf2", otherwise the indicators stays dark.

Greetings, Christian.

Thanks! I'll update the table :) I guess I forgot about about those lights :) I'll check my photoshop file, maybe I simply hide them :)
