The table is frozen and has b2s scores on the playfield.  How do you change the script to cabinet play?  Thanks!

The table is frozen and has b2s scores on the playfield.  How do you change the script to cabinet play?  Thanks!

Are you on version 1.1 because by default that is off  at the top of the table script
Is this type of info is also available in the support topic or the topic in the download screen

UPDATE

 

4.0.0 Updated 3.9.2022
- Updated to my VPX7 physics
- New playfield (by Hauntfreaks) and plastics in 4k (ish :))
- Added my VPX7 LUT changer to darken the table (hold down LEFT CTRL while change with RIGHT CTRL). Including GI brightness adjustment. Use the LUT changer together with the day/night slider to give the table the level of darkness you prefer.
- Updated my mechanical set of sounds to a more "under the glass" sound, as people seem to like those kind of sounds better.
- Added SSF sound commands.
- Changed the Environment image to enhance a little the object shadows.
- Made the light inserts warmer.

The table don't work for me, when I open the table script there is the same script I have in the file ALI.vbs in the script folder ?

You should not have a script named Ali.vbs in the script folder, nor that tables folder, nor any other folder

 

It doesnt work because you are breaking it by having a script with the same name as the table in there


If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

I've got the file "ALI.vps" in the script folder and the table works fine.

Besides, the current name of this table is "Ali-v4", not "Ali" (I've renamed it to "Ali (Stern 1980) v4" to keep it in line with the general naming convention).

Ok now it is working also for me

 

The file ALI.vbs arrive with VpinballX 10.7.1-xxx in the folder script may be we can remove it or it is needed or it is necessary for old version ?

The ALI.vbs has nothing to do with this table, it is a vpinmame script for the Allied Leisure tables. The vpinmame scripts must be in the scripts folder, never in the tables folder. So yes you can delete that file from the tables folder.

Play fine on Desktop mode.
 
But the background seemed a little too empty to me.
So to make it more punchy, respecting the creator's work,
I used  his backdrop to created an alternative one :
