Can anyone open this game in 10.3 beta rev 3088? I installed & ran it on 10.2.1 but updated to beta this afternoon.

Backglass opens but DMD and Table just black screens.

EDIT - ALT-TAB out shows Monopoly 3.20 terminated. Checked rom through TEST in Pinmame Setup, ROM is good and located in correct folder.

EDIT - Deleted the ROM information through regedit and tried again and it works. Not sure why it didn't want to play, but its working now.

I just loaded this into my collection but i hear almost no music.  I hear the sound FX of the ball hitting things, but that's it.  I tried turning the volume up in game as well as my computer volume but even then, barely hear the music.  Any thoughts?  My other tables sounds fine.  Or maybe this doesn't have other sound?

update: i deleted my nvram and used button 8 to increase the sound.  Still soft but good enough

I have no ball rolling sound but all the other sounds seem fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Not a silly question. When I start up monopoly vpx there is no ball rolling sound. But it seems like the bumpers and flippers and all the other sounds are there.

Just looking at the script - I'm not sure why the ball rolling isn't working. But, you should be able to do the following. Get the updated script here https://raw.githubus...Stern 2001).vbs - change line 1234 from

Sub RollingUpdate()

to

Sub RollingUpdate_Timer()

Then make a timer named "RollingUpdate" with a value of 40 that is enabled. Should work.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

I updated the script and changed line 1234. I’m not sure what you mean by “RollingUpdate” with a value of 40 that is enabled.

This is a mod of my table, and the author of the mod, ckpin, added several new routines, one of them is a new GiUpdate for the newer vpinmame. When I made my WOW Monopoly table, vpinmame didn't support Gi lights on the Stern tables, and I simply added a simple routine to turn on and of the Gi lights when loosing the ball. ckpin commented out my Gi routine, but he forgot to remove one line. This lines call the new sub just before the rollingsound and somehow it jumps out of the routine and the rollingsound is never played.

So, find line 1070 and delete it. This is the line in red here:)

Sub RealTimeUpdates
    BankDoor.RotY = - BankFlipper.CurrentAngle + 94
    GIUpdate
    RollingUpdate
End Sub

Master to the rescue. But, I should add - I'm pretty sure that if you add that timer it will work too. You guys need to experiment more, that is why VP is so fun so if you don't know how to add it ? Teach yourself something new is my suggestion.

Btw. I updated the script on github with JPSalas' fix.
