Thanks for the update. It will be nice, if the ball eater-bugs were corrected. It's a great table.
I will test some games.

FAN-TAS-TIC !

I did a backdrop for DT users (like me) and here are my settings

dtsettings.jpg

And the backdrop to import into Table / Image Manager

batmanbackdrop.png

I noticed that ramps 35/36 were not well visible, so I set their "Bottom Height" to "120"

I also replaced the Image of ramp35 "Right_rail_brighter" by "Left_rail_brighter"

Thank you so much for this beauty, I can't wait for the next one ! :)

Sorry to tell you, that the left kicker hole-bug isn't fix.

Play twenty minutes withour error. Than the ball stays in the kicker hole. Twenty seconds later the ball comes in the plunger.

After the first error, every shoot in the kicker hole or mouth- or eyes-holes have the same problem; also if you start a new game.

You have to close the table complete.

Maybe some of the script-gurus can solve this problem? :bye2:

Javier because you did not use the correct dimensions of defined tables. Osea wide 952 ???, the flippers were disproportionate, would have to enlarge them the length to 123 at least !!!!!!

I did not realize the dimensions were wrong, today I will upload version 1.2 with new physics by ClarkKent and also I comment on the wrong dimensions, so far I do not have much time to resize the table.
Later on, surely in time I will do it.

1.2 is up
ClarkKent: new physics and sound effects
Batch: image and setting backdrop.

I was playing a lot last night to test the Left Kicker problem and I had no more problems. I hope it's already fixed.

Hi, thanks for the update.

Somehow I have some issues with vers. 1.2:

About 90% of the middle ramp shots does not make it around the whole ramp now, especially when holding the ball with the flipper before.

And although I prefer gameplay with a bouncy ball, it's almost too bouncy now.

This is just to give feedback, and maybe others have differnt experiences on their setup.

In my experience - if physics have been adjusted by Clark Kent, then its for the better. Haven't tried the update yet though. Will very soon I can assure you :-)

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

I agree with Mark. The complete ramp shot seems almost impossible now. But--I did not experience any problems with the hole. That's some progress!

Edit--the hole problem still exists. I changed the table friction to .88 and flippers to 4200 which seems to fix being able to make the ramp shot and to make it less "bouncy"

Yes, I agree as well. Some adjustments should be made. I like the flippers though. I believe I will lower the pf slightly and see what happens.
I like the flippers though, just as Mark mentioned. Good call. Thanks for the tip Bob, will try your solution if mine fails ;)

I just had a look at the ramp shot and yeah it was hard.  I reduced to the friction on the up ramp sections to .01 and then increased the friction on the top holed section to .6

I can now make full loops if I nail the shot (even from the left flipper), while lesser shots find the holes.  I'm no physics dude, but these adjustments (or a refined version of if someone who knows what they are doing wants to experiment) seem to play like I feel it should.

ok thanks guys, then I will try your settings, or maybe stick with the previous version a bit longer. Which was actually pretty good.

i didn't react yet, the table is beautiful, but the ball bouncing is way too responsive, even on the last version, the rubbers are bouncing so brutal that sometimes i'm loosing the ball because it's too fast for my eyes, hope it can be resolved in an upcoming version ;)

The physics is not final yet as there are many small problems on that table. The most problematic part is the table width as this should be a standard body and not a widebody.

I never took much time to actually look at the dimensions but at one point I did ask Javier if he had the correct dimensions because it seemed off just by eyeing it,  I hope these issues can be resolved without too much difficulty and without detriment to the build itself.  I had some difficulty getting the ramp lined up with both pluner lane and ramp exit lane near right flipper, so I'm concerned that altering the dimensions from here could throw off the ramp's alignment to the table, perhaps some compromise will be needed, especially since I have no plans of going back to fix anything for this build.  I can only move forward.
