Yes, I have plenty of new tables in the queue, but I want to update all my VPX tables first. Some of them are quite old and they need some attention
90 tables done and 101 tables to go ![]()

Really enjoy your tables and happy to hear many more are on the way.

Yo JP, the Bumpers and Slings aren't working. The threshold was set to 100 instead of 1. Is something script-side supposed to happen?
Thanks for putting this table out. It reminds me of the old electro-mechanical bagatelles (with Stern robot voices).
Did you tilt and quit while tilted?
This will happen if you do that as the value gets saved in the table.
You can usually resolve it by shooting one game down the drain.
If you feel the need to empty your wallet in my direction, i don't have any way to receive it anyways

No, not to my knowledge. Unless I accidentally pressed the slam tilt button. I definitely shot a few games down the drain. Tried F3 restarting and all that. To my knowledge, the only semi-unorthodox thing I did was change the dipswitch settings (show credits & enable audio; a must on this table).
I've since simply changed Pop Bumper threshold to 1 and Slingshot threshold to 3 (per JP's Nitro Ground Shaker), though I'm not sure if there are other interactive table elements I missed or if those values for this table are JP-sanctioned ![]()

Dip switches wont do it, no harm there
It happens when a table thinks it is in a tilted state, which sets the threshold to 100
if the table is exited vpx saves that value
Now one way to forever avoid this is to add into the table init to always reinit them to the proper values on every table load.
But it is not really necessary.
Slam Tilt could induce it.
I failed to mention, my bad, when you do this to a table (exit it while tilted) what you have to do is start up table
starts a game
and tilt it purposely, and fire a ball down the drain
That makes the table acknowledge an active tilt and the reset cycle to set the values back.
The proper values should be in the script in the tilt function.
So you just need to cycle the table through the tilt function
Hope that helps in future

I thought this bug was fixed a long time ago. Are you running the latest VPX7.3 or VPX7.4 or VPX8? When you update VPX, do you also copy the scripts? Many people don't do that, and old script s can cause a lot of problems too ![]()

I'm running 7.3, but I'm pretty sure I did a fresh install (it'd been 6 years since I booted up VPX). I really can't remember ![]()
I'll be sure to delete the old scripts once 8 is stable and I update. I'm excited to play your Alice in Wonderland build.
Edit: Took a break from Visual Pinball, but now I'm back at it. Everything works in VPX8. Both Alice in Wonderland and Freefall are in my cab.
