BOP kicked my ass this morning.  Too embarassing to post how many games and my scores ;)   Could not get a decent game in.  36 hours left to join the billionaire's club...

Thalamus High score to beat:  1,087,605,970

Good luck

I played quite a lot of games myself to be honest - so, no need to be embarrassed. 20 games++ and no other score where near bolts. Second best is somewhere near 20 mill. So, it only takes one lucky game. The clue is to be able to keep the 2 multi-balls alive.

If someone wonder - the score was on

"The Machine - Bride Of Pinbot (Williams 1991)_rev1.1.vpx" and "bop_l8" rom - no adjustments from original release and on Desktop view.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

There used to be a topic where people would post their high scores, maybe you can resurrect that one instead of starting a new one?

You just need to add a section for VPX tables (and maybe start another pdf for the tables and list each member's score for that table)

Thread in question: http://www.vpforums....?showtopic=1623

A couple of things to keep in mind:

1. Post a screen shot showing the high score with player initials

2. If possible, include the nvram for the table with the high score

3. If desired, include table name, table version, ROM version, author

This will prevent others to accuse a poster of cheating.

This was the way it had been done before

Yeah deffo old skool ways though. I wanted to improve and move on from that & PinEmHi.

I wrote an API atc to handle all of this, but it 's been remade into a service now with nice login from windows app direct from PinballX or whatever you choose, desktop or whatever.

It's going to be using Tom's nvram parser on the server, so when you play a game the nvram gets uploaded and parsed through and added to database.

https://github.com/t...mame-nvram-maps

^^^ this the parser.....and we need more maps....currently I will start off with the games we have available and hopefully peeps can join in and create some. I'm sure there is guide somewhere how to create one.

With those Williams games the mapping should be more or less the same with the different adjustments.

The adjustments are a good thing, all that data will be parsed through and will be able to tell how many balls game you started with etc.

I am busy atm but I have done most of the work, including all the server, but want to get it running before xmas, maybe.

Don't know, if it's good or bad. The table is fantastic, but I don't like to play him. :bye2:

So, I will try only a few games in this tournament. :db:
