Wow. Very impressive. Especially High Speed. I remember playing that as a kid and thinking how cool those ramps were. And the little freeway signs.  :dblthumb:

Heh, yeah and I'm not surprised that hasn't offered to recreate those wire ramps as wire-mesh 3D object yet.  ;)

Best Regards,

Kruge99.

dark? ;)

Sorry I'm late....

Sort of super busy lately, but I suppose if the table has VP ramps finalised that I can export as mesh to use as guides I could model them up.  The project would have to pretty far on the back burner though sadly.  :(

Wire ramps take me a long time to do, it's easy to get the initial mesh set up, but wire ramps have lots of little custom cut offs and wires fused, and of course I'm not going to go through the trouble of making 3d wire ramps without finishing them off with all the little solder joints! :P

the ramps on both of this tables are very unique.  Yes I know you could say that about every table.

Cyclone.

the actual ramps are done.

Attached File  vy.PNG   1.11MB   12 downloads

the only problem is that they have a very unique lip, and those switch cut outs are going to be fun to make.

I got a HQ image pack  from a member in this site who owns a real table.

400 MB pack

High speed has its own set of ramps.

the Hide Out exit ramps have a 180 degree turn, I spent allot of time making sure the code ejected the ball in the same manor as a real table.

And I'm also going to make sure the ramps are the same.

Taxi is done I would of released it, yesterday.  But the Spin-out ramp has issues.

I sent the table to JP so he could fine tune it, since it was copied from his VP9 table.

Its fully playable but I would say that it works 9 out of 10 times.  But the ball gets stuck in that 1 occasion.

If you have a nudge device in your set up, it should not be a big deal.  A quick table nudge and the ball is ejected.

after playing Cactus Canon and that Ford car table,  I noticed that both tables had a similar ramp, built with individual ramps ( if that makes sense to you).

I tested it on Taxi, I got a better ball response but the trigger was not as accurate.    More testing is needed to determine what type of ramp is better.

given that I'm gifting multiple raspberry pi (inside original NES cases) for the holidays.  I don't plan to  work on this till next year.

Ignorance alert - what is needed to complete the "wire ramps" for High Speed?

Are the actual ramps themselves needed?  I have a trashed parts playfield and will check if the ramps are there.

I could do the high speed wireramps with solder joints and everything if the vpx wire ramps are final modelled for physics. I use the exported (4 rail) vpx ramps as a base and can add the rings etc.
Would be after modelling new TWD ramps at another site.

if anyone has time to make them

the black plastic ramp has a clear plastic over it,  I did not plan to make it.

table has some basic test ramps,  but they need allot of work.

this is the only site I found with detailed pictures

http://www.pleasurea...finishedeng.htm

use the plunger to kick ball out of hideout.
