Getting the error "Object required: Controller". I have the controller.vbs script in the scripts folder. Does it need to be elsewhere?

I could have been smart, but I never learned anything by being smart!

To get credits to display:

Press F6

Check the box for Credits Display

Click OK

Press F3 to reset table

You can also do this to enable match.  There is a checkbox there to enable match.

Hope this helps.

sorry I thought the table had the menu,  I guess its something I added when I modified my version.

you should not use the Eight Ball Deluxe one,  each table has a menu specifically built for that table (sometimes for each rom version)

Download this file

http://www.vpforums....s&showfile=2261

find the text file built for this table

copy and past all the code found in the txt file to the end of the script found in the table.

you will make the menu go from a generic looking menu to a menu with all the info for each switch.

The video needs to be rotated for your front end.

Heres a video showing how to do it

Great table!

I'm just having one problem playing on my desktop with a controller.  I have VPX set for analog plunger, which has worked fine in all other games (mapped to the right analog stick).  But for Fireball II, I must hold down on a button mapped to the plunger instead.  Is there a change I can make in the script to switch it to an analog control?

I just tried this table & set it to display the credits. I loaded 1 credit & started the game. Credits showed "0" - until the ball loads into the plunger, then the credits display "05" while the ball is in play. When the ball drains past the flippers the credits show "0" again - until the ball loads into the plunger again, at which time the credits display "05" again while ball is in play. After the ball drains the credits go back to "0" (or whatever they really are).

FWIW, before I set the DIP switches to display credits, the Credit window was showing "07" while I was playing, but I really had zero credits.

Is there some other DIP setting that is controlling this?

In the VP editor you must select the plunger (bottom right), and select the "Enable Mechanical Plunger" checkbox in the properties panel.

Save the table and play.

I should mention that I'm playing in DT mode, if that makes any difference.

Has anyone else experienced this credit fluctuation?
