I haven't encounter the mixmaster issue, but you might be able to put a trigger at the exit of the mixmaster that when hit, changes the activeball.velY to a more reasonable value.

No it cant fly out of the MM on the real machine.

Sounds like there is some small physics detail difference between 10.0 and 10.1 causing this issue. Once ninuzzu fixed it the last time, there were no instances posted of it still happening. But I plant to mess around with it this weekend.

Has anyone seen this on VP10.0 official release?

Thanks guys. It was a labor of love. :)

Anyone running this on the 10.1 beta? If yes, anyone having issues with the Mixmaster slinging the balls through the walls again.

I am running it on 10.1 beta and no issues so far. I'll try it some more today and report back if I have any issue.

Here's a short video of the mixmaster problem I am having. Like I said in my previous post this is not a consistent problem I played for half an hour tonight before it started happening. Yesterday it was worse because the ball was richocheting more violently around the table where I had to restart the table again because occasionally the ball ended up in weird spots where it couldn't be nudged out.

I'm not sure what is causing it to happen and why it only happens occasionally. Not a major issue as I love playing this table and will continue to do so. I'm sure a solution will be found. :)

I downloaded the VP10 from this site and am playing in VP10. Do I need to play this in 10.1?

This vid is priceless. Thanks.

It appears here that the ball is sliding over top the MM by not entering the hole. I created a wall to better capture the ball and force it down into the MM. For you guys having issues, please try this version and please respond back here with your results.

Might take a few revs to totally resolve this. But we will get there.

Thanks all for the feedback.

Was playing the new version and the same problem occurs though definitely not as often as the first version. Has anyone else who had this problem found the same thing happening with the new version?

I haven't had a chance to play it very much since the updated file. It has occurred at least once though. Its definitely less frequent

Please describe the issue in a bit more detail.

Does the ball appear to not enter the MM and sling onto the PF? This seemed to be the case from the vid above.

Or does the ball enter the MM, bounce around and then get slung through solid objects?

Any other vids would be very helpful.

I was wondering that myself but the problem is it happens so quickly it's hard to tell if it is a enters the MM or not. I'll play some more this evening when I get home and will post another video of it happening if it does occur so we can analyze what's happening.

It's not falling through the hole. The ball is thown around between the top of the hole and the ramp and gets knocked out by what I'm assuming is the spinning post inside the mixmaster (is that even possible?).  First ball in the video bops around between the hole and the ramp and eventually falls through. Second ball bops around and gets thrown behind the bully (I think) and I can't nudge it back out onto the playfield so I had to close out the table.

Just for comparison this took me almost an hour of play for this to happen this time so the wall you put in is really working as intended in my opinion. Last time only took about fifteen minutes.

So the question is now is this really a problem or is this now down to chance? It's been a long time since I've played the actual table but I'm sure it must have occasionally done this in real life.

Thanks for the additional information.

Okay here is a new rev:

Made several changes in the ball entry area of the MM.

Thanks

does this table use the normal orange animated dmd? for me it has just the oldschool scorecounter with the 4 digits and even that only in desktopmode. no dmd or anything in cabinet mode. also no music or anything, i hear just the rolling of the ball. is that normal? all other tables run fine. i use just one rotated screen for pinball gaming.

DD is an Alpha Numeric display pin. It does not used a DMD.

As for the missing sounds. I am leaning toward saying there must be an issue on your side. I believe that if there were an issue with the sound of the table, then it would have been posted several times in this thread or the WIP thread. That said...from time to time, the sound effects do disappear when playing tables but when I restart VP10, the issue resolves itself. Might be a bug.

Any feedbacks from the latest rev to address the Mixmaster issues?

sorry, call me a idiot but i didn't know that it is a numeric display pin. i just played it several times on pinball arcade before and there it got a animated display... also when i look on google every picture of the pinball is with a animated dmd.

will test out the music problem tomorrow.

Are you thinking of Party Zone on TPA, maybe? That one has a DMD and a similar theme.
