I think you don't press the right key

On my PC the menu you're talking about "INPUT-GENERAL / INPUT-THIS GAME / DIP SWITCHES..."

appears when I press the key with 2 arrows on the left of the key "A"

which is under the key with the little "2" on the left of the key with "1" over "&"

Sorry. It's complicated with The different keyboard layouts. Batch probably uses a french keyboard, you an italian and kiwi maybe an us one.
After clicking on the DMD, The key you need to press is The tilde key: ~
In my german keyboard i think it was altGr+"+". Or The key left of the number one. Depends if vpinmame ignores the selected Keyboard Layout.

2 arrows? You mean TAB? That's left of q.
Left of a? That's capslock.
Little 2? (Squared). That's on the 2 key.
& with a 1 over it?
You have a Very strange keyboard layout.

Sorry, I have a French keyboard, with AZERTY instead of QUERTY and perhaps many other differences

 

The key "little 2" is the key "squared" and on my keyboard that's the key I have to press to open the volume windows in DMD

 

So perhaps the best solution is to press al the keys until you find the good one

 

Before someone creates the universal keyboard !

No, italian keyboard have not this....i remembered because when I played Doom 3, cannot open the console...

I tried with other keyboard but nothing to do...I become a little crazy....I think we have only a solution...someone can send me gnr nv and cfg if the volume is normal in their computer...i think so we can resolve.

I use the "VPF Image Host" to upload images, you find it on the red bar.
The procedure for importing images is quite intuitive, a button to search your images and a button to upload.
Then copy one of the VPF Image Host link in the URL box.
I don't know if it works with external links, or just with the "VPF Image Host", I've never tried.

Have you tried to left click on the dmd and then press the key immediately to the left of key 1?

If you don't click inside the dmd window first, you can't enable this menu. I have the keyboard layout showed by hmueck

I tried all, changed nv and cfg, click on dmd and press key  but it is impossible....
