Thanks for sharing the progress UncleReamus! smile.gif

While you're busy building this fantastic table I got a Cabinet saved from the 'scrap yard' which I'm planning to use for my future VP Cabinet .. here's a first pic.
after taking off the white paint (it was completely painted white) ..

Your Table & my Cabinet could well be Good Friends! wink.gif

Cheers,
FD.

Is this a restoration ?

As said Mr. Pacman .. VP Cabinet .. 'only-the-box' stage right now! wink.gif

Cheers,
FD.

Looking great! The only critique I have is with the playfield. The yellow tinge to it seems odd, I always remembered it being more gray/blue in colour.

Added the back wireform, adjusted the color balance on the playfield, also played with the rings on the wireforms to make them look more to scale.
Thanks for the feedback! Let me know what you think! smile.gif

...now the rings look a little better! The plastic ramps can't be seen at all but i guess you have left this for later...well done!

I have not finished the plastic ramp yet. I am not 100% happy with the look of the plastic, and I still want to add some 'thickness' to the walls similar to how JP does his plastic ramps. Having the plastic piece on top of the turnaround in the ramp will help, too.

The playfield looks better now, I must say the table is coming along nicely cant wait for it. I still cant believe that this table hasn't seen an update since 04. A T2 of this caliber is long over due. smile.gif

My turn to work on it...

I've worked on the PF colors, ramp and sling transparent plastics, skull, and I'm working on the GI.

Once the GI is complete, it's on to plastic lighting and the gun.

It looks a m a z i n g!!! cool.gif The rings look a little big, but i have a suggestion: you can try to make the ramp stops at the end of the ramps bigger (if it isn't altering the gameplay)..with this way it will be difficult for the eye to make a comparison with something smaller and they won't look so big anymore...

I'm happy to see that the silver aircraft is on this table. I always remember that from when I was a kid.

While Noah has been busy with the new site and with other things, I started work on this a little out of the blue!
This was one of the first tables I ever played back when I was a kid, so I'm excited to get a nice quality table out there for it.
Noah has some good things in the works for the lighting and we have a few ideas on how to make the gun look awesome (the big block there is just a placeholder for size reference).

I think we are set for the most part on resources, however if there are any owners out there, speak up! You never know when we might need something.

Enjoy! biggrin.gif

Looks really good.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'l be able to play it smoothly on my PC. I have difficulty playing any VP9 tables due to the fact that I have an ATI card. Hopefully a vp8 version could be made. . smile.gif

Looking great! The playfield now looks perfect! 1 question, couldn't the same technique that is being applied to the transparent plastics be applied to the transparent ramp? Keep it up, looking great, can't wait for it. smile.gif

I am looking forward to this new release of T2!

Unfortunately, your attitude is the WRONG attititude to take towards VP8 versus VP9.

As a developer, I Have learned that you are SUPPOSED to develop for the MAJORITY of users, not the mnority. Since VP8 is used by most users, you should develop for VP8 first, then VP9. You want to have your creation exposed to the MOST users that can use it. At this time, the majority of users use VP8, not VP9. I undestand there are advantages to VP9 versus VP8, but since most users are using VP8, that should be the priority to get the most exposure to your creation.

You can ban me if you wish for this. but it is standard to develop for the majority, not the minority. I will continually push for this until VP9 becomes used by the majority of users.
