Here are the settings if you want to convert the Spanned version:
X Scale = 2.78
Y Scale = 2.75
X Offset = -1450
Y Offset = 1030
The file was originally named 16-9 Black Hole.VPT and I'm pretty sure it came from one of the table packs listed on the hyperpin forums. If you guys can figure out the original author and it's OK, I'll try to make it available.

Pretty cool! Thanks guys. Better then I expected being a conversion from spanned.
Not being too familiar with this table, one question: how do you open the gate that puts the ball back into play after coming out of the black hole? Every time I "re-entered" from the black hole I went straight down the drain on the right side.

I haven't played this game in a while, but if I remember correctly you have to hit the target banks in the basement to open the gate. (I have the manual on another computer that I can't access right now, will verify that later)

Thanks TA, yeah I just figured that out -- real cool game! It puts a lot of pressure on you when you end up going down there. On top of that it is tough to really see what you are hitting and/or need to aim for down there, LOL. But it seems like once you get the feel for the basement it is not too bad. The VP9 nudging doesn't hurt either. Great table!

Question on converting other spanned tables to FS: is it just as simple as plugging in new numbers? I tried a few and it worked for the most part but on one table by Destruk (Excalabur), even though I got the table centered properly, the upper left quarter of the table had the backglass on top of it. The drop-targets were popping through the backglass image which was covering that part of the playfield. Is there something to remedy that type of situation?

rescaling goes just with numbers only if table is angle independent
if there are some objects on backglass instead on playfield you have to move them manually
and lot's of tables needs adjustment for vp912 physics
for example - i had to put stronger kick for down kicker that pushes the ball up from lower field, and widen some passages down there where ball would stuck.

i had to in my version, don't know about this one
as for other spanned tables - don't know if they ever worked in vp8 but lot's of them are very old and need tuning for vp912
