I'm having trouble with the backdrop on this table and your new Eight Ball table. For some reason it looks faded out. Anyone else having this problem?Attached File  Simpsons.jpg   718.25KB   79 downloads

That's what happens when Hardware Rendering is off. The backdrop is too large for VP to handle and it goes haywire. Normally, there's a smaller backdrop included with the table, but that apparently isn't the case here. Eight Ball should have one, though.

...yes, but you don't have a plunger either...what is causing this?

Turning HR off, of course. Dunno what exactly happens, but at least I can live with it.

Thanks Groni, great stuff!

Had my best score ever on my second game:

A question I've had for a long time: On the last several VP releases of TSPP, to get the skill shot you hold the plunger back until it stops and let go. No much skill involved. On the real table I've played you hold it back somewhere around 4/5 of the way. Is this correct?

Also, when I put in quarters, it resets VPM. Never had that happen before. (I've got my ROM set on freeplay now.)

I never managed the Kwik-E-Mart skillshot IRL by pulling the plunger all the way. Figured that it must play that way on Groni's table.

Man! Really Great Work !
Amazing Physics, and graphics.
Everything works fine if Hardware Rendering Disabled(except plunger anim.)

With HR Enabled I have the next things.(If someone have the same, PLEASE DISABLE Hardware Rendering)
I have the same problem with the reel transparency, like in your Eight Ball table.(credit light reel)
And the Homer reel is really strange(funny), I never saw that thing (bug) before.

Plays just fine on my computer w/HW rendering as long as I lower the resolution from 1600x1200 to 1280x1024. The only "problem" I have is when the ball comes into the TV playfield, it's hard to hit the ball when it comes tongue.gif

I think you can't. That place, AFAIK, was reserved for the TV scrolling, and now that it's on the table, the remaining space stays black.

Hey Groni, can you please check the flipper settings (length and speed)? It isn't possible to hit the garage with the right flipper! I can change it by myself, but I think we all should have the table in the same condition!
Thank you very much!

Hey

Thanks for all your Replies.

First of all, i dobīt really know what cause the invisible Plunger. I have them with HA on and HA off. I guess you guys with
that bug have an ATI Card?? Same on the Reel Bug. I dont know what causes them. Maybe JP knows??

The Flipper Settings are just like the real one. And you can shot the Garage with the right. I will look if i can optimize it
a little.

I donīt have so much knowledge with the Plunger strenght. Just copied from the old Table. On the real table is the same shot
with full plung. A shot into Kwik e Mart.
Ok, maybe the CBG Skill shot is a little bit easier than the real one.

Then its of course the ATI Bug. They are different on any System and Card.
A Friend of mine has a MEGA PC!! But an ATI Card. He canīt play mine or JPīs
Tables. They stutter and look strange. Now he decided to buy an NVIDIA Card.
