Hey, I'm surprised that you guys like the result... And yes, I will continue, I already started Blackwater 100.

Presently I don't know how to proceed: A new version is ready for upload with two fixes (mistakenly called DOF routines, ball stuck at top solo droptarget), but also with adjusted backdrop settings that will slow down the speed. But some of you really like the speed, and I don't know, if the new backdrop settings should be included in the update, or not.

I will think about it... The new version will be uploaded by me at the latest tomorrow.

Frankly I like the new back drop settings.   Still plenty fast but now more controlable.

Congrats to your first table. The ball is much too fast for my taste so I changed the backdrop settings to make it a bit slower:

Inclination 7

FOV 0

Layback 90

X Scale 1.5

Y Scale 2.1

X Offset -410

Y Offset -735

Gravity Constant 1.75

Contact Friction 0.005

Tried these settings just to see. One thing they do on my table is now the ball comes out from the kickout hole and curves beautifully into a nice slow right hand arc, landing right onto the top level right flipper, giving you a satisfying shot at the top level targets. Nice :) Before, the ball would not make it out of the kickout up the ramp to the top level at all - it would fall back to the lower playfield.

But I found the Contact Friction of 0.005 in the settings above made the ball movement at lower speeds a bit unrealistic. I set Contact Friction to 0.025 and I think it feels a little better.

The table can still be crazy fast too at these settings.

Sindbad - you have done a great job on this table. I really look forward to playing more of your creations !

Weird, I tried setting my contact friction to 0.025 just to test and I can't even get the ball up the plunger lane, even after I had upped the power on the plunger.  The ball acts like the table is covered in molasses.

That IS weird ! What version of VP ? I am running VP990 - standalone exe - everything default.

One very unique shot on this table that I particularly like ! If you can run it down from the upper playfield left hand exit really fast - hold your left flipper up and it will land right on it and bounce right back up the same lane back to the top playfield again :)  That's FLASH ! :)

Same here vp990 stand alone nothing changed as far as I can remember, should be stock setup.

Thanks Sindbad ! This is a really good table! Challenging, fun and fast!

Great job ! Please, keep them coming!

One comment though... If I'm to week in my plunging, and the ball falls back in the plunger line, the drop target in the exit of the plunger line is raised (triggered by a rollover in in the upper part of the lane?). When the ball is shot again, it gets stuck foreever behind the raised target. No problem if you always give full plunge, but irritating if you miss a skill shot.

Thanks !

This table doesn't work for me.  It appears to launch but the playfield is all black....

Replace your vpinball test build by the official vp9.9. This should work.

It worked.  Thanks.  It can be easy to miss these releases when you are used to grabbing from the dropbox...

FG table is nice but 9.9 busts way too many tables.  Plunger issues, etc.  I went back to what works for my 270+ other tested/working tables.

I don't know that there was a difference between the test and non test version.  I went back to 9.2.

Plunger was broken on Apollo 13 and Attack from Mars.  I only tried a few tables and had problems right away.

It appears a solution is to use Pinball X and make different games load different versions of VP.  I'll probably wait since I only know of 2 games that are 9.9 only.

Version 1.2 is online. It (hopefully) fixes the ball stuck problem on the top of the left ramp.

Great recreation, thanks. Very quick table :)

I changed the formatting/layback settings a little... perhaps this is better for tall folks with a view that's more from above: 0/30/80/270/1.287/2/1/-415/68/0
