Can we use DOF with Rosve's B2S tables?

Yes,

from the DOF site:

any table can use the B2S.Server no matter wether it has a backglass or not. Even tables with a classic Rosve style, no B2S.Server, legacy backglass can use the B2S.Server and its plugins using the mentioned option.

Maybe TAF gold which uses the tafg_lx3 rom can be added at LedWiz Configtool ?

I've uploaded a new B2S server version 1.3.0.1 with working and saving check box "Activate plugins".

Strange.. adding the <ArePluginsOn>1</ArePluginsOn> line did not prevent the error message to appear on old B2S tables.

I have the issue when I start the Star Wars from Rosve, and of course there is no way to call the B2S menu with the "S" key since I don't have the direct bacgkass.

Any idea how to solve this?

The <ArePluginsOn> tag doesn't prevent the message box to appear. To avoid this message box you have to uncheck the option "Error message without backglass" in the settings dialog.

I have uploaded a bug fixed version of the server yesterday as there was a bug with the "Activate plugins" check box that should be solved now. So both check box should work like they should with v1.3.0.1.

All good now Herweh! Thanks a lot to you and everyone involved in this!

I was not convinced if it was worth updating to DOF since I don't have many toys or flashers on my cab..

but having the targets now reacting is a great plus,

and it also allowed to get rid of micro stutter on many tables!!!

Sometimes, it even feels like the some tables are playing faster :)

So if you haven't updated yet, don't wait any longer!

Thank you all for the great Work!!! :love39:  I like the DirectOutput :otvclap:

The Games are now stutter-free and more realistic.

So, next weekend i will try to modify some EM-Tables. But i need more information and help.

What applikations i need to make the Backscreen?

What are the recommend commands for the table-script (Script->B2S->Ledwiz)?

Has anyone an example or a manual or examples?

Is it recommend to add the EM-Table to the ledcontrol.ini? When Yes, how?

Thank you for a quickli answer, and Sorry for my bad english.

Quick related question. On the LEDwiz config website I see a lot of references to DOF revised EM tables ( Captain Fantastic, Centigrade 37, etc...). Are these tables floating around somewhere or is there a simple script modification that can be made to convert an EM table to DOF compatible? Thanks again for all the hard work !

Hello,
DOF does it work with an Arduino Mega.
Thank you. :dblthumb:

@Axioma:

A Arduino Mega itself is not much more than a chip on a board. What you can do with it does entirely depend on the code on the cpu of the Arduino. So if you write some code to use the arduino mega as a output controller, then it would likely be possible to integrate that unit into DOF by adding a driver for it.

@Amgrim, thank your for your Input. I have study your code, YESSS thats the answer. :db:

Ok, in ledcontrol.ini i set EXXX-Number responsing with my light-connectors on the scarface-line. the EXXX was controlled from B2SSetData.

Knows anyone the highest address for B2SSetData (maybe 254?)

I use some solonoids for bumper and flipperarm feedback.

in my code, i write this code:

....controller.B2SSetData 144 ,1 : controller.B2SSetData 144, 0

now i have a Flipflop. But the time for the solonoid came up is to short.

The next question is:

Is there any delay or wait possibility?

Is it better to make a "Sub"-Routine for the solonoids? And if yes, how can i programm a delayline? With an timer?

Thank you

we tried to use E2** for fand E1** for the rest, but you can do whatever you want

i don't think there's a limitation

you can use E144 w500 for a delay of 500 ms before the contactor is fired for example,  everything is in the doc of swisslizard ;)

I'd like to know this also. I read the section about EM tables in the DOF documentation but wasn't able to get it working on Abracadabra (one of my favorites). There appear to be a lot of EM tables already in the database and I'd LOVE to get them working.
