Destruk maybe I have explained wrong.I want to say that he YES can read the chips prefectly.
But first he need that anyone send to him a chip of those to he can do all the tests but he have said that he yes can built a reader to read these roms.
Only he need a chip to test it and he will get read the chips I,m sure.He is he is fully convinced of it.
Also he have said to me that if you can,t send a chip of those to him if you say any web page where get one or a board system III he can buy it and do the test still get it.He have been looking for by ebay but he doens,t find nothing.

If he can use the same device to program a chip, we have one read from one of the roms.  He could write one, and then read it back to see if the reader is working correctly?

Thanks.  If you find a game for sale that has the A2361 and A2362 chips in it, I could help purchase the machine to read the chips from.  We won't be able to emulate any of the game roms without those two chips.

Destruk a friend have said this to me about system III.The system III had two versions:

-One in the which the RAM memory gone separated of Eprom, models that used the 1702 (Mr.Doom,Mr Evil,Cavalier,Fait Fight).

-And then release other card to incorporated the RAM memory in the own Eprom 2716.(Black Magic)

I want to say with this that if we have the complete rom of Black Magic pinball like the RAM memory in that pinball is recorded in the Eprom 2716 ,we can to record that RAM to all the memory of each rom of MR Doom,MR,Evil Cavalier,etc...and of this way we can have the complete .bin of each rom with RAM included.

Do you understand want I to say to you?

We are working in it to get them soon.

It sounds confusing, but if you think it's safer that way, I hope for success. :)

Destruk very good news:

My friend told that there are several models of System III
motherboards. The last models moved the roms from the 2361 and 2362 to
an eprom 2716. And this eprom were used on several pinball models. The
program code was joined with the 256 configuration bytes (that before
were on an eprom 1702). We should be able to edit the binaries and
separate the program from the configuration.

When my friend Antonio send me the dumps, another friend me will edit them
to extract the commom code on them, which should be the programming. In
theory there is the program code so there should not be necessary to
dump the 2361 and 2362.

Soon if we have a bit of lucky we will get all the roms completes of system III and you can to emulate in vpimame.
He is working in it.I hope that he get it.

Destruk a question:

Do you have the scheme of the board with the eprom 2716?

Now my friend needs that scheme because like did two models of boards, one with the 1702 and the two chips 2361 and 2362, that scheme he has it.

But the other model of board more modern it did with the chip 2716,that scheme he need it because he guess that the program can to be different in both boards.

If you have the scheme of the board with the eprom 2716 can upload it?

Destruk take a look to the last reply of my friend Carlitos_litos in this link :

http://petacos.forum...&st=15#lastpost

he has a problem with 25 bytes aren,t equals between the rom black magic and the rom of The Flipper Game.
Maybe you can help him and say it because those 25 bytes are different between both roms.

I don't know about that stuff - could you ask gerrit?

AFAIK those are two different games so the code should be different between them.
