whee, nice :)

noticed this gold ROM is so much better than what I used to play with the old version. (taf_l7)

did a quick try and got 400+ million, leaving 2 extra balls on the board I'll report back when I have more than 1 billion :)

thanks guys for the good work once again!

Love the update. Many thanks to all. Crashes my VP on exit though. I've tried rev 642, 677, and 680. Only this table causes the crash. It doesn't happen when using PinballX though. Any ideas ???

This is one table where i'm keeping the original and the new! as out dated as the original is it is still well worth keeping as a non gold table! what other tables will get a facelift now that they are able to be updated? TOM? fish tales? not sure melons tables?

Actually, this is not a replacement for the original but actually a limited addition Gold version. With the fester and rug toys added. I created a new wheel logo for it and added it to my cab.

if you are using db2s you need to add the controller stop command in the script..

just look for line 215

End Sub ' Del inicio de la mesa

add this below it...

 Sub TAF_Paused:Controller.Pause = 1:End Sub
 Sub TAF_unPaused:Controller.Pause = 0:End Sub
 Sub TAF_exit()

 Controller.Stop

End sub

Getting an error. line: 64 Object required: 'Controller'

Any ideas? Thank you for the help.

if you don't have a directb2s of this table. go to script and modify - "Const cController = 3" to 1.

Thank you. Works perfectly! :)

If I'm not mistaken, they only made 1,000 gold units.

This table plays amazingly well. Thanks for the great effort put in on this one.

Some one mentioned the lightning, but what bothers me more is the constant flashing of the flashers.

I have my real Addams Family sitting right next to my VP machine and the flashers do not just constantly cycle like that.

What line should I look at to turn either turn them off completely or make them behave like real flashers.

Again, I am not complaining, I know a gift horse when I see one.

If I could only change one thing. That would be it.

What ROM does your real machine have?  Reason I ask is because the flashers are activated by the ROM.  Only additional flashers was the addition of flashers for the eyes of the bear and the lightening for festers head.

Due to this you wont be able to reduce the amount of times they go off since they are controlled by the ROM.  If you want to turn them off all together you will just need to go into the script and comment out all the ones you don't like under the flasher routines (that section is labeled) under the fading lights section.

If you are using a different ROM in your real machine and you like it better then you may want to try using that ROM (can be downloaded here) in the table and see if it matches better.

Extra ball key ???    The normal number 2 key does not seem to initiate it.       Is this one like Indiana Jones?    Which key activates the Extra ball?    Thanks for the help

OK, just got to my cab to be more specific on how to remove the lighting for those that don't like it.

Go to line 1085 and change FadeLm  to FadeL  (have to remove the "m" as you are no longer doing multiple callbacks for this action.

then go to line 1086 and comment out (or delete the whole line) the line FlashARm 122 f22bhalo,....

then go to the next line and comment out (or delete the whole line) the line FlashAR 122 f22halo,....

This will stop the action from happening.  You can go one step further if you like and delete the ramp f22halo and f22bhalo.

That is strange because I am using the Gold Roms in My Addams Family.

I will have to double check this tomorrow after work, but I swear it just seems like the flashers on the VP version are just circling around and around with no purpose.

I only fired up one quick game so far as I did not have much time. Further testing will be required.

None of this is a major problem. Just seemed odd to me.

Hello everyone.

To add the buy in button you need to edit some code.

Keydown =

"If KeyCode=KeyFront Then Controller.Switch(11)=1"

Keyup =

"If KeyCode=KeyFront Then Controller.Switch(11)=0"

hope this makes sense.  Switch 11 is buy in button on gold rom

Table is amazing. This is kind of a personal request but could anyone make a custom gold plate with number 666 on it?

Its in the section named "LOS CALLBACKS DE LOS KICKERS"

Sub TAF_KeyDown(keycode)
      If KeyCode=KeyFront Then Controller.Switch(11)=1
      If keycode = LeftTiltKey Then LeftNudge 80, 1.2, 20: PlaySound "nudge_left"
      If keycode = RightTiltKey Then RightNudge 280, 1.2, 20: PlaySound "nudge_right"
      If keycode = CenterTiltKey Then CenterNudge 0, 1.6, 25: PlaySound "nudge_forward"
If keycode = LeftFlipperKey Then botonIzquierdo = true
      If keycode = 45 Then LeftNudge 80, 2, 30: PlaySound "nudge_left"
      If keycode = 52 Then RightNudge 280, 2, 30: PlaySound "nudge_right"
      If vpmKeyDown(keycode) Then Exit Sub
	If keycode = PlungerKey Then PlungerIM.Pullback:Pcount = 0:PTime.Enabled = 1:Plunger.TimerEnabled=0

  End Sub

Sub TAF_KeyUp(ByVal keycode)
     If KeyCode=KeyFront Then Controller.Switch(11)=0
     If vpmKeyUp(keycode) Then Exit Sub
If keycode = LeftFlipperKey Then botonIzquierdo = False
	If keycode = PlungerKey Then PTime.Enabled = 0:Pcount = 0:PTime2.Enabled = 1:PlungerIM.Fire
 End Sub

Best of luck! Also if you do not figure it out I am sure there will be an update soon for it and bug fixes.  :drunk:
