Sorry for the confusion. I know they did not get the money. All I was trying to say is that 174 000 was all the community was willing to give for 5 tables incl. a new one. I also know the reason why they have to do a kickstarter and why they ask for as much as they do. I am just not very confident they will get it all.(and yes, I will support it with as much as I can) I sincerely hope they have got some outside founding since the last kickstarter.
Here again is what they said in the last kickstarter about why they asked for as much: If they ask for 80 000 they might get it but as they say, the first table they do will be the most expensive

now seems like a good time for us to try to explain why we went for $400,000 for five tables.
What might not be obvious to many is that the first table requires the bulk of the effort, with subsequent tables being much more straightforward to do (with the exception of the fifth table which obviously requires brand new design work etc.)
To do Timeshock! on its own we would still need to raise at least $240,000. This is because, amongst other things, we have to create a brand new multi-platform graphics engine, improve the physics engine, create brand new UI, perfect our new rendering techniques and completely re-model, re-texture, re-animate, re-light and re-render the table itself. Remastering the 3 other classic tables would in the main, only require re-modeling, re-texturing, re-animating and re-rendering, which is a much less costly proposition.
So in broad terms we are currently offering 5 tables at $80K each, instead of offering 1 table for $240K. Maybe we were wrong, but we assumed it would easier to raise $400K for 5 tables (including one by Pat Lawlor, no less), rather than raise $240K for just one table.
Hopefully all that makes some sense! :-)
