Nice cab!

You can find some FPS scores from others here:
http://www.hyperspin...Post-Yours-Here

Lots of tweaks in this thread:

Plus checkout couple of threads that I link to in my signature.

Good luck!

Great info, thanks. That second thread doesn't detail which services to disable and which to keep enabled though, do you have a list?

Edit: Black Viper guide for services?

Edit 2: anyone know where to get large case corners like this in Canada? That one doesn't ship to Canada and I don't have the ability to ship them to a mail holding place near the border and drive there to pick them up. The closest thing I could find was this, but those are half the size and don't look great with the sunk screw holes.

Here are the services I have enabled in my cab. There are only about half a dozen set to auto and the ones set to manual never start up. I don't have any internet or networking on the cab PC.

Be careful when disabling services as some that I don't use might be needed for your setup. I would try stopping one service at a time rather than disabling it initially to make sure nothing breaks. I use 32bit XP. Best to Create a system restore point before stopping services. Do it at your own risk! :)

Also worth switching off virtual memory completely, try 16-bit on your back glass monitor, try the ddraw registry tweak which can add 150fps but more importantly make gameplay smoother. Set pinmame sound to 16000. Also assign all processes to a single core, and the give VP his own core, and uvp its own core.
