I seem to be getting some input delay on this table with my flippers. I'm guessing its caused by the sound crackling i hear. I know there is a thread out there... How do I lower the rom's volume on this gottlieb.

Thank you, Master.
I hit the secret passage and lost the ball (the ball came with the right speed to enter).
I think it has fallen below the lower playfield.

Max

JP, I just had this happen as well.... What happened in my case is the ball hit the secret passage target and dropped, but i could see it move in a circle once behind the target, so i am thinking it didn't roll down the ramp... it seems to have gotten stuck at the top of balldropperramp3.

Maceman

Yup, just happened to me too. What a great table JP! Maybe Black Hole, Devil's Dare, Mars God of War, those memorable Gottlieb System 80 games on the back burner? rolleyes.gif

Top pic is with hardware rendering off, bottom pic is with hardware rendering on (and a VP restart). Dunno what's wrong. That left upper playfield flipper always looks correct though, what's different about that one? Maybe I can change the others to match?

The only way to adjust the rom volume for this table is to adjust it through the VPinMAME window, which involves clicking on the VPinMAME window (unhide it if it is hidden), pres the tilde key to open up a white box inside the VPinMAME window, use the up and down arrow keys to scroll through the options to get to the audio channels, then use the left and right arrow keys to adjust the channel volume (left arrow key lowers the volume, right arrow key raises the volume) for each channel. When you are through, press the tilde key to close the white box then click anywhere on the table to return focus to the table.

Hope this helps.

Bugs: until now the only bugs have been about the ball disappearing when going from the main playfield to the under playfield. I think I have spotted the missing parts/walls, and I have close the wholes. But I built this table with real holes, this means the ball goes airborne, and we know what happens when a ball goes airborne: it goes through objects, but I guess I have fixed those errors. If nothing more comes up I'll make un update tomorrow. Just now the only changes are about adding some extra walls to stop the ball from falling off the underplayfield ramps.

I hit 1 through 5 in sequence and it lit extra ball. I haven't played enough to have done it many times, but I'll keep playing...

Love this table! I've always wanted to see a custom version of this table with the lower area reversed so you can see the targets. Would this be hard to do? Please consider it JP. Excellent job! Thanks.

In the editor, on the left panel click on "Backdrop" buton.
Now you have access to the text and you can change the size and color of the font (on the right).
