Just wanted to come back and say I tried this table out and wow. I like! Very fun.

There are 3 lines in the script that point to DMD color (42-45 I think). The game errors on these when having UVP set up. I've not noticed these lines of code before. I commented them out and game runs fine. What were these supposed to do? Left over from the old VP8 version?

If you aren't running UVP it turns the score displays green like the real machine.

Build a fire, vipers love the heat.

Hey, great table JP as always. You are the master. I am having some difficulty with the shots up the left orbit (with the spinner). On solid shots the ball gets stuck on the metal gate and rolls back down. Weak shots seem to make it though. Weird I know. Do you know of a fix I can try? think.gif

Is the reason the segments on the uvp dont display is because its not rom controlled? I have two other tables that do this to me aswell. Star trek 1979 and harlem GT's... Any suggestions?

They display for me...did you add the Led Timer and appropriate lines? I'm assuming you did...so can you elaborate on what is/isn't happening?

i did add the timer. The Uvp is functioning minus the alpha numberic display. Same issue with the other two tables its weird.

I did comment out the 3 color lines in the script

it may help that all 3 had the alpha/num segments out of alignment from the get go...

backglass is running at the standard 1280x1024

Out of curiosity...did you load it in UVP and see if the displays are in there? The one I used I made myself from FD's old UVP and the brighter backglass, not the one he posted today.

Gotta be something with your script...paste it here (with some above it and below it if any). And verify your timer settings? There wasn't anything special to get this working besides commenting out the DMD color commands.

Really? So the DMD is supposed to be green? Just asking because for me, it is orange like usual.
(not running UVP and these lines are not commented of course)

By the way, thanks for this table, it was a big surprise. I never heard of it until today and it is really fun to play!

other than adding the normal uvp changes and commenting out the color script its the standard download. I do remove the 3 lines under ultravp.backglass line. but, those are just error lines.

when i do the timer i make the timer call it leds and set the interval to 50 that's right correct?

Does your UVP filename match the backglass filename?
AND does your visual pinball.XML file have the correct filename under the table filename?

Post your entry in the visual pinball.xml and we will help.

I think his filenames were right because he said everything on the UVP was working except the digital numbers unless I completely misunderstood him. That's why this in an interesting problem smile.gif Has to be something easy that we're overlooking.
