After playing this game a few times, it has some problems & things that can be improved. One thing I noticed is that the table is very small. Only 900x wide & 1920x length. Even EM's are 952x wide. Its OK, I'm not saying anybody should do anything, I guess this version is still better than the prior. I tweak for personal use. Flippers are way too strong (small table size exacerbates this), table slope is too steep, & I noticed the bumpers look oddly tall. Also this table visually looks extra jagged on some edges, & perhaps the ramps could use more control points.

I also wanted to correct the viewing angle on this table, but it is not angle independant.
I know this was probably a complicated table to work on, & some things were done well & I can tell a lot of work went into it. I'm sure your tables will get better & better as you hopefully keep doing them. Maybe in the future get some playtesters who will spot some of these things right off the bat, at least with the gameplay which is by far the most important part of any VPM table.

Yes, I changed lots of settings on my copy. I think he made the table thin to look proper when it is stretched on his WS monitor.

It is still a really nice job. otvclap.gif

Here is a shot of mine, of course the physics changes can't be seen, though I did shape the flippers differently. I also cropped the table, added both xscale & yscale like bob above, used up all the extra space to fit the table height wise & thus appear a bit larger, which is nice. I was able to keep the same backdrop, & I even corrected perspective on it (& the rails) so that they are better angled in line with the table.
Also I kept this as 4:3. Not sure what the author was trying to do in regards to WS, but the ball renders as round at a 4:3 resolution, so its best to keep it that way.

This is yet another reason why I would prefer that people release in 4:3, the whole ball stretching issue. While there is a setting to help fix it, you gotta keep changing it when you play a 4:3, & in cases like this not even this setting can help. Would be nice if VP-man let you set this per individual table though.

If this author is OK with a mod I'd probably refine some other things as well, but as of now of course this is just personal use. Just to show that some basic, simple changes can really make for a better experience in my opinion, both visually & gameplay.

SRY, but i do it thinking on FS table and not for desktop version.

That is what I figured. Like JPsalas, you should consider building your main version as a desktop 4:3 table, since that is the "bread & butter" of VP, & it will help your building skills. Then convert that to FS. Besides, most VP users are on desktop anyhow (especially outside of this site), so that is another reason to make sure the desktop version is solid.

Yeah I'll send you my version soon, though I might tweak a couple more things before I send it. Maybe you should also put it out there that this table is OK to mod, then maybe somebody else will come along & be able to spend even more time with it than I am, & maybe get in there & tweak some other areas or more complex things.
I think my flipper physics are OK but maybe could still be better, so if anybody has their own suggestions on flipper settings for this table just list them here & I'd be curious to try them.

As for blurriness. It sounds to me like you don't have Anisotropic Filtering enabled on your graphics card. You want to max out all your texture settings, then enable Anisotropic Filtering as well. You can set it up to 16x, but I see no difference between 8x & 16x, so I stick with 8x cuz it uses less video RAM.
AF normally shouldn't make a huge difference especially when you have high resolution textures to begin with, but with some screenshots I've seen from people lately, I guess some cards just don't do well at all without AF enabled. But regardless this is a setting that everybody should have enabled.
It should be stickied in the forums so that everybody knows to do this, because AF didn't work on VP before VP9.

This should be the procedure to scroll through the menu options:

1. Press the 7 key to enter the test menu.

2. Press the left shift key once to enter test/adjustment menu.

3. Use the left shift key to scroll through the options until you get to game adjustments

4. Press right shift key to select game adjustments

5. Press the 7 key to enter adjustments.

6. Continue to press 7 until you see the item you want to adjust in the DMD

7. Use the shift keys to adjust the option

8, Press F3 to save your changes and reset the table.

Requiem it,s very nice the table but like the table is done everything with ramps can not play because it backfires all the time.It has too many ramps and consumes all cpu.
For next table is better than do not use it many ramps because otherwise the table is unplayable.
