but I thought if you had the hardware to even run the fp ones vp should be a breeze. fp is 30 megs, vp9.1.2 sits at just over one. vp9.09 is under 1 meg. That is why vp runs on mine. only because of its small size, it's my tables that bog it down as most of my newer ones are topping 80 megs each! That kills my running even most of my own all the way through. i know what to test then have to stop and save before it locks up. yeah even the most stable ones vp9.07 too it's not the vp programs it's my tower. it's showing its age eh, I work around it, shutting down everything else to overclock it by well' I'd toss out the fridge and the crapper, if ya' get my drift
so with fp running you should have no prob at all, are you using vista or win7? if so you must right click and run as admin, post on what exactly you are getting or not getting i can't see why fp is a very intensive program, what with all those pre-rendered working objects you guys get to choose from, where in vp all that must be hand built per table. Much tougher and also why they don't look as pretty or so many here think. but really vp should be a backwards compatibility for anyone running fp not the other way around
sorry didn't mean to steer away from the pin i still wish I could at least run the fp ones they do look nice but I do recall the odd physics at times. I am not knocking fp far from it but it does happen there is no denying that fact. but i see many that I could get ideas from same as most of the ones I download from here and pn. I rarely play them ore than once, but I have a few huge txt lists of what each ones has that makes it special for me.. and every table does carry something; let me catch myself here, every original table for the recreations are again just that copies (exact one yes but still copies), offers something that shows the inner workings of that particular table builders mind. and again referring to being a former gamemaster (dungeon master to all you old (fool imo) school D&D addicts who stayed with those boring books and charts), I love to see what others make on their own. My system let my players make their own weapons based on elements and spell components so each table (and this Beavis and Butthead one looks to be one of those 'special' tables an oddity I happen to love being me and all that!) Pleez make sure you put in the cornholio sound routine, that routine is classic! ya' just gotta' I have the 'you suck' sound in my legends pins of you need it, but use youtube or any of the thousand sound sites we all posted on a few weeks back they are world famous by now and everyone has something on them! Have fun making this one! I loved them, they always made us crack up, rolling on the floor at times tears streaming from our eyes nice table so far cool.gif

Nothing has been finalized at this point, but so far my idea is there are 4 game modes and once you complete all the game modes you will start The Great Cornholio. Likely to be a 3 ball multiball.

I have plenty of graphics and sounds to choose from. I have a netflix account and they have Beavis & Butt-head on the instant queue. So I'll watch an episode, find some lines I could use and I just run a cable from my speaker jack to the mic jack and record it, then edit it. So far it's worked great.

I finally got my timers working properly and setup kickbacks, using kickers. I need to do some further testing with game modes, at the moment I only have one working. And I need to adjust the playfield some, it's just too frustratingly hard at the moment. Since this is my first table I guess that makes sense, I really have no concept of how to improve ball flow and etc.

But I still feel I'm making pretty good progress.

So yeah, to answer your question, there will be plenty of Great Cornholio on the table. Beavis is my favorite of the two and I think that will show on the table, but I gotta give Butt-Head his due too.

Haven't seen any videos yet, but I haven't watched that many episodes either.

If the DVD releases have the videos, I'm sure netflix will too.
