This is a great table JP! The more I play VP the more I appreciate your work. It has just taken me a long time to get to know your tables as there are so many smile.gif

http://pinball.org/v...als-future-spa/ Regarding the gate in the left outlanes on this: from this PAPA competition video it is set-up differently -- when it is open all outlanes are blocked, and when it is closed there is only one outlane. Yours is set-up to have either 2 out lanes, or 1 when gate is open. From the written comments beneath the video by Bowen Kerins, either way is correct but he found the 2 outlane way too "punishing". I am wondering if anyone can offer tips on how I might change this gate set-up to be like the one in the PAPA competition video?

Just change the angles of the two flippers which make the gate. They start at 0 degrees and end up at 46. The change them to start a -46 and end at 0.

Thanks JP -- it worked like a charm dblthumb.gif

Edit: I want to make a correction of my first post. The changed gate settings is a mod by PAPA meaning that the correct settings is the way JP had it, although it is mentioned that most games in the field are set-up with the mod.

yep, i told them if you noticed... wink.gif
i guess two outlanes its a harsh, but in the other way, no outlanes at all (when gate activated), become too easy...

Aliens 2, Area 51, Asterix, Bally Tribute, ET, Evel Knievel, Frontier, Galaxian, Inspector Gadget, Lilo & Stitch, Looney Tunes, Lost World, Mata Hari, Night Mission, Power Play, Rayman, Rolling Stones 2, Stalker, Santa Odyssey, Tempest, Timon & Pumbaa, Williams Tribute, World Cup 2002, Zombie

Tanx to (alphabetical order) : BLACK, CUTTER, DESTRUK, EALA, JP, JOE ENTROPY, KINSEY, KRISTIAN, LOSERMAN, LUVTHATAPEX, RANDY, SCAPINO, SHIVA, STRANGELEO (hope i did not forget someone... )

So that was you smile.gif

I had watched that PAPA competition video a long time ago and immediately noticed that the gate was set different than ours. If you watch the video, those guys are having trouble with the table on the "easy" setting and they are the best players in the world. So I don't think it is too easy -- I think it improves gameplay a lot.

"too easy" was not right from me wink.gif

simply because future spa IS a hard table to play, even more with original gate setting...

If knock down all the drop downs targets the extra ball lights up, but in hitting again, it then just lights the special.

No extra ball or special awarded unknw.gif

Also having a sound issue with this table.

The volume will drop by half during play at random intervals. Then after a minute or so, returns to normal.

There's no pattern to the volume change or the length of the change. I'm not sure if this is a VP problem or a
system problem, because I only have this problem with a few tables, Ripley's being one of the others.

Loving Future Spa though, great table and UVP backglass......thanks to creators otvclap.gif

Found the dip switch settings, but there's no option to enable extra ball feature.
