Is there a way to change these keys?

Just hold down the flipper buttons to move the claw left and right. On the real cabinet the flipper triggers on the top controls do the exact same thing as the regular flipper buttons on the side in regards to claw movement.

Would be cool if you could change the script to use the magna buttons for this even though it is not like the real table.
Nice to use them once in a while! tapping.gif

That's What I had in mind.

Actually Mik I forgot to mention this to you but it only happened to me once so didn't think it was a huge gltich. The ball did get stuck under the top flipper and even if you engage the flipper up and try to tilt or nudge the ball won't come out either.

Please put an invisible wall (decheck top visible and side visible height 50 ) to prevent this append.
i'll upload a new version asap with this fix

I think the only problem is that flipper are left and right while magna save is only one
In this animation you can move the claw both left and right to position on the claw of your choice

Thanks a lot to all for you beautiful feedback.
I'm really happy but also envious because at the moment i do not have a cab where to play because i have sold my to start a new one, but i'm really in late because i do not have already bought the playfileds monitor.

Hi Bmiki,

i played the table tonight and WOW !!!! Its awesome. really playes fantastic. Much like the original table. Only two remarks , the ramp for skill shot and claw release does not release the ball on th playfield, but just before "retina scan". And i got the ball stuck under the third flipper a couple of times.

But hey, great table !!!! As i said. One of my favorites, i used to own a DM for quit some years, and really loved it. One of the underrated tables I think

Regards

Jack

Hi Guys, just a question. Is it possible to increase volume for flippers, slingshots etc ? I have the volume way up in Visual Pinball for sounds, but seems to be a bit low ? Or is it just me ?

^^^^^^ this

Not just during the skill shot phase, but all shots made with the "third Flipper" when you successfully hit ramp154 on the real pin it will put the ball directly to the left flipper so you can continue shooting combos. Dumping the ball to the Retna scan area is incorrect on this table.

Other than that it's beautiful and I'm really enjoying this table. I appreciate everyones work smile.gif

B2K24 could you please post an image of what the ball have to do in this situation. Please use the image of the table and mark the entire path the ball have to make.

I have used manual to made ramps so i'm quite sure they are correct in path.

I'll ask also to mwong168 to give his feedback because he own this pinball.
I think it is not difficoult to adjust this features i need only to know with path ball have to make for 3rd flipper ball that hit side ramp

I have understood the path and made a fix i'll upload asap a new version after some test.

I'm pretty sure mik's table doesn't dump the ball in the retina scan area or at least not when I hit it and I've hit this shot many times during my testing. Unfortunately I hardly hit this shot on my real table because it is really hard and I probably suck too smile.gif From what I can see when I do hit it the ball has to be coming down at a certain speed (fast) as well as your timing to get it right. I'll cheat tonight with the glass off and manually throw the ball up and see where it lands but from what I remember it dumps straight to the left flipper like mik's.

** update **

Sorry Mik, the ball does go to the retina scan after you his the skill shot. You can see it in this youtube video the guy hits it on the first ball, I really need more practice or maybe I need to change my flipper rubbers from black to red tongue.gif The guy hits the skill shot at 0:06 and at 0:09 you see it get released from the retina scan down to the left flipper.

Is this the right Path for every shot that involve side ramp?

The kicker circled in red is always active?
If yes i have made a fix to have ball make this path.
Thanks a lot

Let me verify tonight on my table with the glass off and maybe even make you a video to see exactly what happens. The kicker kicks the ball out instantly sometimes or depending on the mode it keeps the ball in for a few seconds. I'll let you know what happens tonight when I get a few minutes to try it out but you have the path correct.

Sorry for my bad explaining, I apologize for that.
Your Picture is correct Mik, everytime that ramp shot is made successful it always dumps the ball how you have outlined in the picture on the real Pin. This is correct.

I was a big fan of Demolition man and played the real pin for years, but this was 10 years ago so memory is somewhat vague.
Also, I believe Mike to be 100% correct in his last point about the kicker.

Again, I really appreciate all your work on this table. Ever since being forced to Move I can't find nearby the real pin to play. Words on a forum can't explain the joy this brings too me smile.gif

Thank you very much.

This evening (in italy) i'll upload a fix for this.
Can someone explain me, just for curiosity, how the ball dropped from side ramp can make this path in real pinball.
This is a snap of the real pinball and i cannot image in witch way the ball have to go to the left and not come accross the part i think is a spinner and not a gate

Hi Bmiki,

this is not a spinner, but a gate. The ball drops behind this gate and moves to the left. it is sort of a one way gate. you have to be able to hit retina scan offcourse.

Regards

Jack
