Great table. We had one at an arcade here last summer 2009 and boy was that easy to win games on so this is a real treat. I did find one problem, not really a bug or complaint though, and that is that you score 50,000 points more often then not on the ramp holes shot. I have yet to score 25,000 going in the big hole and think that switch should score more times than the 50,000 switch.

I hope this is a suitable release for the desktop users from an "incapable cabinet view author"

almost perfect table! For those who can't shoot the left and middle ramp, best flipper settings are changing the strenght of the flippers from 0,4 to 0,5, in my opinion the best value. Very well done UW!

The whole point is to make it take a perfect shot to corkscrew the left ramp, and the middle ramp is fine.

Yes actually, on the real table the corkscrew is probably the hardest shot. That's why it's set the way it is. I was going more for authenticity rather than easy.

Totally true UW! In the real table the corcscrew was indeed hard make it to the top, on the other hand it's the (almost) only way to get a higher chance to get the famous 'first 1 million-shot" with the bumpers it's hard to bounce the ball back to the top lanes. man i love this table..still hoping you will also do a remake of Earthshaker (your Whirlwind table was perfect too) :-)

Great table UW! Excellent lighting, the bike jump effect is cool almost like the bike crashed and burned right on the playfield.

Played the table once now I crash when the table starts ups. Any Ideas?

Ok, I knocked a heap of games out on this one , and I can tell you now that this plays almost identical to my real one. cool.gif
Middle ramp shots are a little bit more difficult with this, but all other shots pretty much are on par.
As for the cycle jump, all shots are the same, easy to get 200k, mostly 50k, and even a few 20k, no over the top shots.
Left ramp shots are fine, and got 1m lit plenty. (Just couldn't get it)

Also it loaded and played well on my slow system. smile.gif

Well done UW, top job. dblthumb.gif

FS version tomorrow, cant wait.

Which romset does this table need? I have both the L-4 and L-5 sets (IPDB) but the roms aren't recognized when I start the table.

Funny thing I just discovered, I have the unzipped roms in the nvram folder but the L-5 zipped rom wasn't in the roms folder. Go figure. biggrin.gif

Scott I have found a graphical bug in the desktop version. When the ball rolls down the "9" lane in 1986. The number 9 can be seen above the ball, like its on the plastic ramp. Here is a snapshot

Hey Freddie. If you look at the metal guide wall at the very top of the table you will see the reflection of the table and lights. The lights in that reflection light up as the playfield lights do..
If you look close you will see that 9 is upside down. Watch it in attract mode

I am thinking we are looking at the wrong thing? I understand about the reflections of the lights on that top panel. I am talking about the 9 being actually physically on top of the ball. If you look at my screenshot, I'm talking about the 9 in 19.

definitely not upside down
