I ran into an issue with the sound on this table. I hit the ball lock for ball 1 and then I had no game sound for the rest of that ball.

Also, is the censorship part of the rom or a different rom? I think that this version is using a different rom version that the previous one.

Yeah this version uses version 1.0, JP has kindly added the other roms in the script (at the top, few lines down), you just have to edit version 1.0 out and edit in the rude rom smile.gif

Which is the rude rom?

EDIT: Never mind, I found it 1.09c.

Rude ROM = Profanity ROM

Which means that there is a profanity sound bite in the ROM. Don't recall what it is but it is there.

Cut'n paste from ActionPinball.com

Version 1.09C: This is the "profanity" ROM version for this game- same as 1.09B, but allows you to get rid of the "bleeps" in the dialogue via the "Family Mode" setting in the game's adjustments. Setting Family Mode to "off" enables the profanity. Setting to "on" disables the profanity. (ie: "I'm Lord Howard Hurtz- who the f*ck are you!?")

The same way you would adjust any of the WPC ROMS. Look at either my replay adjustment or balls per game threads for DMD tables and click on the link for Bally/Midway/Williams WPC tables. That should be the proper procedure to enter and navigate through the menu system.

If it does not work, let us know so it can be researched further.

Thanks for the help. I found the family settings, and they were already set at off. How much profanity is on the rom? I am not hearing any.

And another question that has probably been answered before. I am getting crackling and popping noises when the castle blows up. Normal?

For the crackling noise, make sure you do NOT have the volume set to max volume. You should have it set no higher than 25-28 I think.

Again, as I said before I am not sure how much profanity is in there. gStAv posted a piece of an article higher up in this thread showing one phrase that is found in the profanity ROM, but I don't know if that is the only phrase or not. I haven't tried that ROM so I couldn't say if that is the only phrase. Someone else might know more about that.

I read on another site that one line is the only line of profanity on the rom. The general consensus was that the bleep was funnier than the actual f-bomb. Oh well.

On the normal rom he says who the hell are you.

Are the bleeps in family mode on the profanity rom.

About Terminator 2: UncleReamus & Noah Fentz has made a very nice version of T2 for VP9, and I think I remember Noah saying they will update it. So I don't feel to make another verrsion of it smile.gif

Hi JP,

i meant a nice FS version of T2. The one out ther does not play so well. Seems to be a problem with the gun. Hopefully UncleReamus & Noah Fentz will do a FS version of this.
