Weird behavior's with latest builds.

Hey Mike... did you open a github ticket for this one?

On a side note... I wish these forums would limit a quote to one previous reply.  We end up with like three posts per page because each quote contains the previous eight or ten replies.  /rant

Not yet, wasn't sure if it was just me.
During all the test with vpx, pinmame, dmdext etc, it could be that my system is a bit screwed.
I just wanted to known if other has the same issue, if I'm the only one, the devs should not put effort in it

I'll check it now.  I haven't run the last couple builds yet.

*edit*  Ok, I just tried the Earthshaker table on build 1297 with frame pacing on.  I didn't get any errors, but there could be something in your setup that is different than mine and causing a legitimate error.  Maybe someone else will chime in as well.

That is up to the poster writing the post.

IP Board has no selective feature that i know of, but the person writing the post does.

Yeah, the nesting is actually useful for following the flow of a conversation if you have only just entered it, but it would be nice to have it minimised by default and then the reader needs to click something to open it up fully and read the nested comment history. I have no idea if that is a possibility with IP.Board that Noah is using.

On 1297 most tables I've opened in the interactive camera/light editor seem to crash.  I had this on a small number of tables (like Road Race) previously, but it seems to be worse now.  Anyone else getting the same problem?

trying the new option "Synchronisation mode" and put it on "Frame facing", gives an  error on the DX9 exe

c9000401f0d044b38a4d2364fcda65ed.png

For the D3DERR I created https://github.com/v...ball/issues/609

doing the same on GL version (VR disabled, just on screen):

with Vsync or  with "Frame facing" results in a crash of VP

7f1963eaf42a06ddabecae6a9345946e.png

For hanging table in GL , I created https://github.com/v...ball/issues/610

When I use for example Earthshaker  from bigus, and turn on the flex DMD, my FPS is dropping and is not in sync with my monitor)/ drops to 90-120 FPS.

Disable FlexDMD works and keeps it on 144 FPS

This was properly caused by my remote tool (Anydesk) . never had issues with it, but anydesk uses 33% of my GPU driver. Launching Visual Pinball it ramps up to 50%. Closing Anydesk results that I could have my frames back (tested it with 165Hz as well, and all good). I didn't create anything for this

The halo height changes has me spinning!  Sounds like a ton of work if a lot of tables need it. I suppose it must serve some vital purpose.

I'm able to launch LE on multiple tables and can look around. Anything particular you do to get it crash ?

I have found what's wrong with the halo light's height: it is a problem with the depth bias. I have informed vbousquet, so I guess it will be a quick fix, like change the redrawing order or a similar thing :) If you want to check the problem, here it is a small table with a halo light on top of a wall. In VPX7 it looks fine, but in VPX8 the light looks like it is under the wall. Many of my tables have the Gi lights made this way. But, as I said, I think it  will be a quick fix :)
